Erika Kirk was slammed by Candace Owens over comments she made about privacy and keeping her late husband's burial site secret despite posting footage of his body and casket online.
Owens, who has been critical of the mother of two in recent weeks, claimed that the TPUSA CEO had the "Meghan Markle Syndrome," a remark that appeared to suggest Erika wanted privacy yet also sought publicity whenever she chose.
The political commentator also issued other harsh criticisms of Erika Kirk, including questioning her ability to run Turning Point USA, the nonprofit organization Charlie Kirk founded.
Erika Kirk Accused Of Having 'Meghan Markle Syndrome' By Candace Owens

Erika Kirk's comment about needing privacy for herself and her children became fodder for a scathing analysis by Candace Owens in a recent episode of her show.
The mother of two made the remarks during a recent interview with Fox in which she answered questions about the burial site of her husband, Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated at an event for his nonprofit in September.
"Can my babies have one thing where we hold it sacred, where my husband is laid to rest, where I don't have to be worried about some secular revolutionary coming and destroying my husband's grave while my daughter is sitting there praying?" Erika said at the time.
Responding to the remarks on her show, Owens came out guns blazing right out of the gate, labeling Erika as having "Meghan Markle Syndrome."
She claimed the term meant that the mother of two wants "privacy when you want it" while also wanting "publicity whenever you want it."
"And that just doesn't work. It doesn't work that way," Owens said in response to Erika's privacy plea.
The Widow Was Slammed By Her Late Husband's Friend For Posting His Body And Casket Online

Owens, during her rant, cited how Erika posted online the casket of her late husband and further questioned why the nonprofit executive was now requesting privacy.
"This is the same person who had someone record her over Charlie Kirk's casket," Owens raged on. "That was not our business, truly, and I can say that decision was made by her."
"There is some credence to the idea that everybody grieves differently. I wouldn't record myself over a casket, ever," Owens continued. "Some people may want to have that memory. But the decision to publish that, her crying over her husband's casket, and to publish his body on Instagram was a decision made by Erica."
Candace Owens Says Erika Kirk Needs To Make A Decision On Privacy And Can't Have It Both Ways

The political commentator continued to stress how Erika was the one to have made the decision to publish the "incredibly personal and incredibly intimate moment" online.
Owens further argued that by sharing the casket footage of Charlie, his grieving wife had invited the public into something that should have remained private.
Due to this action, the right-wing activist believes Erika shouldn't be requesting privacy after being asked about Charlie's burial site.
"It doesn't work like that," Owens further remarked. "You have to make a decision: I want this always to be private, or I want this always to be public."
Erika Kirk's Ability To Run TPUSA Was Questioned

On her show, Owens also criticized other remarks Erika made during the Fox News interview.
One point that stood out was her questioning of Erika's ability to step into Charlie's shoes as the new CEO of TPUSA.
Owens used this criticism to push back against Erika's appeal to conspiracy theorists about avoiding making baseless claims about Charlie's staff in a bid to find the truth about his death.
"[Erika is] expanding the wings of people that we're not allowed to critique because they're in the family," Owens said.
According to Owens, Erika's remark will only further support the patriarchal narrative believed by some people that women aren't equipped to lead companies.
"Because what you are watching here is an unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic," she continued.
"Don't try to like mom the organization and say, 'well, mother's upset because people are coming after her kids and all of the multi-million-dollar subsidiaries,'" Owens also noted.
Erika Kirk Told Candace Owens To Stop Making Conspiracy Theories About Charlie Kirk's Death
In an upcoming town hall set to air on CBS over the weekend, Erika directly addressed Owens with a warning about her conspiracy theories.
She called for the political commentator and other similar individuals to stop propagating such ideas, though she did not indicate whether any legal action would be taken if they continued to do so.
"Stop. That's it. That's all I have to say. Stop," the mother of two told CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss.
Candace wasted no time issuing a sarcastic clapback, claiming she would stop, but under one condition.
"So, Erika would like me to stop lying, and I would like to honor that," she said. "I can only honor that if Erika is more explicit in terms of what I have lied about."
"Where am I lying? Because I would like to stop if you can tell me," Owens added.
