Charli D'Amelio CLAPS BACK After Twerking Video Surfaces

Another day, a new drama surrounding TikTok star Charli D’Amelio.

Charli has come under fire countless times since shooting to fame on the platform in 2019.

The 17-year-old has basically grown up in front of her 119 million followers, and still can’t seem to catch a break.

The entire D’Amelio family came under fire last year after a video of Charli and Dixie reacting unfavorably to their personal chef’s cooking went viral.

The sisters were called out by fans for mocking and gagging at their personal chef’s cooking when the family had James Charles over for dinner.

Fans claimed Charli was making sarcastic faces while Dixie gagged and actually threw up from the chef’s cooking.

They were called “ungrateful,” “rude” and “disrespectful.”

At the time the video, “Dining With The D’Amelio’s,” went viral Charli quickly started to lose followers on Tik Tok and went from 99.5 million to 98.4 million.

The backlash was so intense that Charli considered quitting TikTok, social media and her career as an influencer.

That incident was about eight months ago, and it appears Charli is no longer phased by fan backlash.

Over the weekend, Charli was seen at an all-white clothing themed party.

In true influencer fashion, the evening was documented on social media and the teen star was called out for twerking.

On July 5, social media exploded after a video of her twerking made the rounds on the internet. Many fans called out Charli for partaking in questionable behavior and not setting a good example for her young fans.

Some people even questioned how an underage girl was able to get into a nightclub; however, that was debunked by Noah Beck.

Dixie’s boyfriend defended Charli writing, “You guys need to let her live. Poor girl breathes the wrong way and you guys got something to say. And this was a friends house we were at, not a club.”

Of course, Charli got wind of the social media backlash and responded by telling her fans she’d. do it all again.

She posted seven photos with the last one showing off her backside and dropping it low. She captioned the photos, “and I’ll do it again.”

Many of her famous friends and fellow TikTokers showed support in her comments section.

Addison Rae wrote, “Please.”

Markell Washington wrote, “AS YOU SHOULD QUEEN THROW THEM YAMS IN A CIRCLE.”

Madi Monroe kept it simple writing, “Period.”

It’s clear Charli isn’t sweating the small stuff these days. While she would do it all again, the internet is still torn as to whether or not she is setting a good example for her young fanbase.
