Your favorite TikTok couple seems to be back after almost a year since breaking up.
Chase Hudson, 18, has it all – the looks, fame, money and charisma.
There is just one problem, this TikTok cutie might not be single!
Hudson was accused of cheating on his at-the-time girlfriend, Charli D’Amelio, back in late 2020. The couple ended up breaking up but stayed friends…Or so you thought.
In a recent music video posted by Hudson in late April titled, ‘American Sweetheart’, it showed D’Amelio and Hudson getting just a little too close.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hudson Stated:
“Right in the beginning of quarantine, when we all got locked up, it was just a really sh**ty time for me. I had just gotten out of a relationship and I was not allowed to leave my house, so I felt very alone during this time…Me and the person that I had split with [Charli]… we just decided to be friends. It was really hard for the two of us during quarantine, and just me by myself in my room 24/7.”
It’s Good to note that Hudson did not explain how or why the break up occurred, but according to popular tea pages like TikTok Room and The Hollywood Fix, It was confirmed that Hudson was trying to “talk” with fellow TikTok star Nessa Barret.

“We just kind of have been able to maturely make a decision that we are friends and stay strong,” Hudson told ET Online.
“Friends” Is where Hudson claims the relationship is at, but many fans don’t believe that Hudson is telling the truth…
Late last year after the couple was broken up, a photo captioned “charli d’amelio picks up chase hudson from the airport after thanksgiving!” was uploaded to Twitter.
This was one of the times that fans started to question if the TikTok duo was back.
In a “behind the scenes video” posted by Hudson on May 12th, reviled that the duo was having fun on set, but at the same time it seems as they were still being more than just friends by picking up each-other and being intimate.
While Hudson claims there is no more romance between the couple, fans and others will continue to draw their own conclusions.
According to Hudson, “The song is truly about a sad time that I’d gone through in my life.”
So is the couple officially together? No, but this doesn’t mean we might be seeing them rise back up into the spotlight soon!
