Singer Cher's inner circle is shutting down talk of a $13 million Netflix deal, dismissing claims that she secretly agreed to a multi-episode tell-all series.

Fans might wish it were true, especially those curious about her relationship with Alexander "A.E." Edwards, a romance Cher defended just last month when she shrugged off criticism about their age gap.

Cher became the center of the latest rumor after it was alleged that she had agreed to a documentary exploring the highs, lows, and controversies of her life.

Reports claiming she locked down a multi-million dollar streaming deal made waves, but none of it checks out. Sources close to the music icon say the chatter is completely off-base and that no series, contract, or negotiations are happening.

Apparently, insiders say that talk of a glossy, seven-episode saga is not rooted in reality, even though the second part of her long-awaited memoir is still missing. TMZ reports that the rumor picked up after a U.K. outlet claimed Cher had signed on for a project reportedly titled "Sharing Her Story."

The series was said to be seven hour-long episodes set for a 2026 release, supposedly timed with the next installment of her memoir. The report also claimed the deal was worth $13 million and would look "into the highs and lows of her life."

Cher's storytelling awakening is in full swing after the release of the first half of her two-part memoir, following her 2024 publishing deal with HarperCollins.

Before its debut, The Hollywood Reporter revealed the release date and cover, confirming that "Cher: The Memoir, Part One" would arrive on November 19, 2024.

The book traces her early years, her rise to fame, and the complicated partnership that defined her relationship and career with Sonny Bono. It promises a closer look at "the highly complicated relationship that made them world-famous, but eventually drove them apart."

HarperCollins teased that Cher, now decades into a career built on doing things her own way, is finally ready to tell her story without holding back.

Riding the wave of her memoirs and alleged documentary, Cher shows no signs of slowing down, despite what she claims. The Blast notes that during a November 4 interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, the singer candidly revealed she is not a fan of aging.

When King asked if she felt the same as her about aging, the star did not hold back. "Yes, I hate it! I'm 10 years older than you, babe!" Cher said, playfully dismissing the idea that age automatically brings wisdom. "Oh, I'm stupid. I'm not wiser," she quipped.

The discussion also revisited a 1991 interview where Cher expressed her desire to keep performing at 75, as long as she stayed healthy. Reflecting on her decades-long career, she told King, "I don't know how to do anything else. What am I gonna do? I love what I do."

Cher's life is anything but boring, and it is easy to see why the idea of a documentary from the pop icon would be exciting, especially to get insight into her relationship with her boyfriend, Alexander "A.E." Edwards.

The Blast reports that she addressed chatter over their 40-year age difference while reflecting on their three-year relationship. During an interview, Cher dismissed critics, saying, "They're not living my life. Nobody knows what goes on between us, but we just have a blast."

Their bond is so strong that her team had to squash rumors circulating about tension when Edwards was seen at Coachella without Cher. Her reps clarified that there were no issues, explaining that scheduling conflicts kept them from attending together.

Despite the buzz of tension, the lovebirds are showing no signs of keeping their romance private. Reports confirm that the couple were seen attending the private opening of an art installation by Faena Art in West Chelsea on October 10, holding hands and staying close throughout the night.

An eyewitness described the pair as radiating happiness, noting that Cher was in "great spirits" as she mingled with friends and Edwards. The source added, "The entire night felt electric and free."

Even while serving guests her signature "Cherlato" ice cream alongside Gianpaolo "Giapo" Grazioli, Cher could not resist moments of PDA with Edwards.
