Singer Ray J Allegedly Pulls A Gun On His Estranged Wife During Bizarre Moment, Gets Arrested

Ray J's latest altercation with his estranged wife, Princess Love, has led to his arrest.

The singer-songwriter allegedly pulled out a gun on the PRELLA Cosmetics founder during an incident in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Ray J and Princess Love are currently in the middle of a contentious divorce, after previously filing for divorce three other times and later dismissing each case.

Ray J has found himself in trouble with the law after he allegedly pulled a gun on his estranged wife, Princess Love, during an altercation in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The singer was on a livestream at the time the incident began, and it appeared he had intentionally left the camera rolling.

In one scene, he could be seen appearing to snatch a handgun off the table and load the pistol, per TMZ.

This was followed by another chaotic moment in which he yelled at someone off-screen,  ordering them to get out of the house and accusing them of "trespassing."

As the situation continued to escalate, Princess Love appeared on camera, telling the singer she was taking their kids, Melody Love and Epik Ray.

Within seconds, the model is seen repeatedly accusing Ray J of pointing a gun at her, an allegation that may have led to the singer's arrest.

While there is no official statement from Ray J about the altercation, he did hint at what may have led to it.

During the incident, the singer could be seen claiming that someone was trying to take his kids and that he was also being threatened.

Although he did not identify the individual, it is possible he was referring to those he accused of trespassing on his home.

Ray J was also seen threatening a man during the altercation, specifically telling the man, "I'll shoot the f-ck out of you."

More threats followed off-camera, with the singer saying, "I'll kill you," and "Get out of my house before I shoot you right now. I got a gun on me."

It is unclear who called the police, but reports claim that authorities received a call around 4 a.m.

The caller stated there was a possible domestic violence incident involving threats.

Upon police arrival at the scene, Princess Love appeared to speak with one of the officers about the incident.

Police later cleared the residence before Ray J was taken into custody. For now, it is unclear whether the singer is being charged with anything or if he has posted bail.

Ray J and Princess Love have had a very tumultuous relationship since they got married in 2016.

Over the years, they have filed for divorce four times, with the fourth filing coming in February 2024.

Their recent altercation is also one of many they have had over the years. Earlier in the year, they were involved in another heated fight shortly after Ray J came home from tour.

The argument appeared to be about their pending divorce and led to police arriving at their home.

Princess Love reportedly told authorities that her estranged husband was being aggressive, yelling, and possibly under the influence.

However, Ray J was not taken away by authorities, although he was initially detained when they arrived at the home.

Back in 2024, Love filed to legally end her marriage with Ray J on Monday, February 26, at a Los Angeles court.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast at the time, she demanded to have joint legal and physical custody of their kids, Melody, 5, and Epik, 4, and also requested spousal support from Ray J.

In 2023, Ray J was granted a divorce dismissal after he previously filed for divorce himself.

At the time, the "Another Day in Paradise" singer talked about patching things up with his estranged wife, sharing his desire to keep his family together.

"HAD TO GET MY WIFE BACK AND START FRESH," Ray J said on Instagram, per People Magazine. "I LOVE MY FAMILY!! I'll FIGHT OVER AND OVER FOR LIFE FOR MY FAMILY AND KIDS!! – I'll put it ALL ON THE LINE FOR MY CHILDREN TO BE HAPPY AND SAFE AND CLOSE TO ME 24/7."
