Brandi Glanville is feeling more like her old self amid her ongoing battle with a mystery parasitic infection.
The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star recently shared an update about her well-being, expressing excitement for the future after spending two years attempting to fix her facial disfigurement.
Brandi Glanville initially believed her facial features were altered by stress-induced angioedema in 2023 and blamed Bravo for her condition. However, she changed her tune a year later, alleging that she had been infected by a parasite.
Brandi Glanville Is Looking Forward To New Experiences Thanks To Improved Health

During a recent interview, Glanville declared that she was "feeling so much better" following her health ordeal. "It's been a slow process, but I'm finally getting back to my normal routine and feeling like myself again," she gushed.
Glanville added that moving to a new home had positively influenced her health, explaining that it felt like a fresh start. She noted that the new space had helped her reset and focus on caring for herself in "a calmer, more positive environment."
Thanks to her improved health, the TV personality was ready to return to the spotlight, but not as a Housewife. Glanville told US Weekly that she had several projects in the works, including a YouTube series. "It's been exciting to grow and explore new platforms," she raved.
The Former Bravolebrity Suffered Self-Inflicted Chemical Burns On Her Face

Glanville's health update came three months after she suffered self-inflicted chemical burns on her face. The Blast covered the story in August, reporting that the entertainer had attempted to get rid of her facial parasite by applying Nair hair removal cream on her face.
Glanville showcased the nasty burns in a TikTok post, labeling Nair "the fountain of youth" despite the results of her misapplication. She claimed the hair removal cream was a cheaper alternative to chemical peels and lasers, patting herself on the back for figuring it out.
She kept raving about the benefits of Nair, advising fans to do a patch test before committing to a substantial amount of hair removal cream, as she had done. Glanville's beauty hack did not sit right with her followers, who warned her to stop experimenting with her body.

Glanville has been vocal about her facial disfigurement since 2023, blaming her fallout with Bravo and NBC Universal for inducing her mystery illness. She poured out her grievances against the showrunners in an interview, saying:
"Some doctors say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it's stress-induced edema. I personally say it's Bravo."
Glanville and the network separated on bad terms after Bravo alum Caroline Manzo accused the entertainer of sexual assault during filming of the "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" in Morocco. Glanville also claimed she got the parasite, which she has since named "Caroline," from the controversial trip.

The sexual assault drama, coupled with Glanville's mystery illness, left her feeling hopeless and contemplating her place in the world. The Blast shared that Glanville revealed she had battled suicidal thoughts amid her health ordeal, nearly pulling the plug on her life.
The TV personality explained that she survived the negative thoughts plaguing her because of her children, sons Mason and Jake. She welcomed the pair during her marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian, whom she separated from in 2009 following his affair with country music singer LeAnn Rimes.
Glanville explained that her mystery illness had plunged her into a financial crisis, as she exhausted her savings and spent over $100,000 on medical bills. Despite the massive sum and numerous visits to different medical professionals, no one could fix her facial disfigurement.
A Bravo Alum Alleged She Had The Same Parasite Plaguing Brandi Glanville

Glanville wasn't the only one allegedly suffering from a parasitic infection caused by Bravo's filming in Morocco. The Blast reported in July that "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson claimed she had been infected by the same parasite that was bothering Glanville.
In Gunvalson's case, the parasitic infection caused her immense pain as she could allegedly feel the parasites moving from one part of her body to another. The symptoms continued with bloating, constipation, and fatigue.
Gunvalson noted that doctors confirmed her system had been invaded by parasites, which she believed stemmed from the Morocco trip. She recalled similar experiences to Glanville, claiming the environment was unhygienic, with flies touching their meals.
