Tara Reid's Roofie Drama Takes Another Turn With Counter Claims

Tara Reid's hotel lobby friend is clearing his name from her recent episode!

The "American Pie" star's smoking buddy at the hotel she was wheeled out of has now come to put the events of that morning into perspective.

Tara Reid seemingly passed out at the facility's bar last weekend on the alleged basis of someone spiking her drink while she prepared for a celebrity signing event.

The Hollywood personality reportedly referenced her YouTuber smoking buddy in the police report, narrating that they met at the hotel bar, had lengthy conversations, and even exchanged phone numbers.

Reid continued that he then invited her outside to smoke a cigarette, after which so many things happened that she could not clearly recollect.

However, the YouTuber, identified as Sean P, clarified that the actress's account was largely untrue because their first encounter was a bit rough, and they both engaged in conversations while being tipsy.

He claimed it was Reid who actually approached him with an offer to smoke outside, and on their return into the bar, he tried to clear his tab. Sean recalled that Reid then asked him to take out her room key from her purse, which contained pills.

As reported by TMZ, Sean claimed that Reid called for security after he checked her purse, and when the team arrived, they both assured the officers nothing was happening.

As soon as the security left, Sean shared that he told Reid to head out for another smoke session, and it was around this time that she landed on the floor. Although Reid insists her glass of wine was spiked, Sean claimed he never noticed her with a drink, even in his absentmindedness.

The actress had reportedly received pictures of her conduct at the lobby from Sean the next day, noting that it seemed like an attempt to extort her. However, the YouTuber claimed that he only sent the video to the actress to inform her that his friend had footage of her being moved out of the hotel on a stretcher.

Sean added that the accusation of his planting drugs in her drinks flew in after this episode, and he blatantly denied it. The actress's rep has now clarified that she never accused the YouTuber of being behind her woes, but she is not surprised by his inconsistent stories.

The Blast shared that the actress finally filed a police report about the incident with the Rosemont Public Safety Department, detailing that the presence of plenty of YouTubers at the hotel was a source of concern for her. While her senses tingled at the time, her understanding of the situation remained very foggy.

She did recall stepping out with a white influencer after he approached her with a smoke offer. On her return to the table, she reportedly saw a napkin over her drink, but still decided to drink it anyway.

Her next memory after that was her blacking out and waking up eight hours later in the hospital with no idea about what had happened moments before. She then noted her readiness to prosecute, especially after Sean texted with the pictures and even helped her confirm that she had only one drink that morning.

Reid did experience a tumultuous period of substance abuse in her past, leading her to find her way to the nearest rehabilitation center for professional intervention. In a The Blast report, sources close to the actress at the time stressed that it was high time she sought help for her condition.

Reid aced the 60-day intervention and had a review about her experience six years later, admitting that consulting experts over her situation became necessary because she could not stand who she had become.

The "American Pie" star was beyond thankful for her decision, describing it as the greatest choice she has ever made, which saved her life. Reid temporarily stepped back from the spotlight a few years ago due to pressure from the media about her past as a very outgoing person who enjoyed popping bottles and having a great time.

The star showcased her support for her co-star during an interview two years ago, where she discussed the possibility of Coolidge using her acting success to bag another sequel of the highly acclaimed production.

Coolidge starred in the movie alongside Reid, playing the character of Steven Stifler's mother, called "Stifler's Mom." Reid starred in the movie as Vicky Lathum, the blonde bombshell partner of Kevin Myers, played by Thomas Ian Nicholas.

"First of all, I'm so proud and happy for Jennifer Coolidge, who's probably one of the coolest women and people in the world. She's truly a comedic genius without even trying. And she's so sweet," Reid noted.

Coolidge herself is willing to embark on more sequels of the film, as she made a joke about being readily available for the sixth and seventh installments despite milking most of the installments from the movie.
