Included in the filings are email exchanges between the exes' legal teams, with Jolie's lawyers arguing that any burden Pitt faces in producing documents is "of his own creation," since he initiated the damages claim.

Another email from October 2023 notes that Pitt is also seeking "ongoing damages for alleged harm to Miraval's ongoing operations."

Jolie's team further referenced Pitt's alleged refusal to hand over communications tied to his request for a four-year NDA covering "personal misconduct," calling those documents essential to their case.

Pitt initially launched the Miraval legal battle in 2022, accusing Jolie of illegally selling her shares to Tenute del Mondo, part of the Stoli Group, despite what he says was a mutual agreement requiring both parties' approval before any sale.

The "Maleficent" actress has denied that such an agreement existed and fired back with a countersuit, alleging Pitt has been "waging a vindictive war" against her through the courts.

Jolie's filings further claim Pitt refused to buy out her stake unless she agreed to a sweeping NDA, one she argues was "designed to force her silence about his abuse and cover-up," tied to a 2016 private jet incident, where Pitt was accused of verbal and physical misconduct toward her and their children.

Authorities ultimately did not bring charges, and Jolie did not pursue criminal action at the time.
