In a live sit-down with Megyn Kelly before a sold-out crowd in Glendale, Arizona, Erika Kirk spoke bluntly about Tyler Robinson, who is accused of murdering her husband.

Kelly had asked an emotional Erika whether she had anything to say to the 22-year-old alleged killer, and the answer she gave seemed to hint at a shift in her feelings about forgiving him.

“If you could say something to him, like, if you could say something to his parents, what would it be? Would it be anger? Would it sympathy? What would it be?" Kelly asked the mother of two.

Erika responded that what she feels is neither “sympathy” nor “anger,” before expressing her belief that God will deliver justice for her loss.

The mother of two also explained why she chooses not to be angry about her husband’s death despite the emotional toll her loss has taken on her.

“The enemy would love for me to be angry,” she said. “He would love it…[but] it would distract me from building what Charlie entrusted to me, raising our babies, Turning Point, being there for the team, being there for what the future holds.”

Erika and Charlie share two children: a daughter, Sara Rose, born in August 2022, and a son, whose name remains undisclosed, born in May 2024.

After Kirk’s death, she assumed the role of CEO of Turning Point USA, the non-governmental organization her late husband founded in 2012.

More revelations were made during Erika’s interview with Kelly, including details about her viral hug with J.D. Vance.

At a Turning Point USA event after her husband’s death, the mother of two and the Vice President shared an emotional moment that sparked some backlash over her touchy demeanor.

Responding to the criticism, Erika said her love language is touch and that she was in no way trying to be inappropriate with Vance.

She also shared the brief conversation they had during the moment they hugged.

He says, “I'm so proud of you.' And I say, 'God bless you,' and I touch the back of his head," Erika revealed.

Erika Kirk Faced Backlash Over Advice To Young Couples

During the sit-down, Erika also noted that she wished she had been pregnant with Charlie’s child before his death and that she now advises young people not to delay having children in pursuit of their careers.

“Now, when I see young couples, I tell them, 'Please, like don't put it off,' especially if you're a young woman, don't put it off," she shared.

The mother-of-two added, "You can always have a career. You can always go back to work. You can never just go back to having children, and they grow so fast and so quickly.”

Her remarks raised eyebrows online, with some people claiming she was being hypocritical.

One user noted, “Erika Kirk is so f-cking disingenuous for a lot of reasons, but especially for telling young women they can ‘always go back to work, or having a career, but don’t put off having kids.’ She had her first baby when she was in her mid-30s after getting an advanced degree!!”
