Jordon Hudson was clearly displeased with Dave Portnoy's rant about her boyfriend, Bill Belichick, following UNC's loss to Wake Forest.

According to the Barstool Sports founder, the cheerleader slid into his DMs to confront him with a not-so-friendly gesture. Still, that didn't stop Portnoy from going after Belichick once again after photos of the coach attending Hudson's cheerleading recital went viral.

Bill Belichick's team now prepares for its next match against the Duke Blue Devils, who are higher up in the standings.

Shortly after Belichick's UNC team lost 28 to 12 to Wake Forest last Saturday, Dave Portnoy took to his X account to rant about the defeat.

His remarks clearly did not sit well with the coach's girlfriend, Hudson, as she went to his Instagram DM to confront him.

"I got a thumbs down from her. I got a DM, just a thumbs down," Portnoy revealed during Wednesday's installment of the "Barstool Pick Em" podcast, per the New York Post.

The statement prompted Portnoy's co-host, Dan "Big Cat" Katz, to ask whether he had instigated the reaction by sending her something first.

Portnoy replied, "I didn't send her anything… She DM'd me a thumbs-down," but producer Hank Lockwood pointed out Portnoy's earlier tweet, which added context to the situation.

The Barstool Sports founder then added, "I said something to that effect," referencing his call for Belichick's retirement in his earlier rant.

UNC's loss to Wake Forest meant the team dropped to a 4–6 record since the veteran coach debuted in college football.

Frustrated by the situation, Portnoy first tweeted about how difficult it was to watch the game.

"Watching UNC is so frustrating. It's like an alien stole Belichick's brain. Just horribly coached. Horrible decisions," he told his followers.

In a subsequent tweet, Portnoy further piled on Belichick by questioning whether he is mentally fit to be a coach.

"Belichick needs to retire. This is disgusting. I'm not even sure he knows the score or where he is," he added.

The remarks led netizens to also question how Belichick achieved his six Super Bowl wins in the NFL.

"Or maybe it was really Brady winning all those years," one user wrote.

"Maybe he was never a good coach, and it was always Brady," a second individual remarked.

The Barstool Sports Founder Mocked Bill Belichick For Attending His Girlfriend's Cheerleading Recital

A few days after the loss to Wake Forest, Belichick gave Portnoy yet another reason to come after him when he was spotted at an adult cheerleading competition in Raleigh to support Hudson.

"Competitively coed adult cheerleading is going to be an Olympic sport (probably). Find a new slant." Portnoy quoted a photo of Belichick at the event.

It didn't help that Belichick had an utterly miserable look on his face, suggesting he wasn't enjoying the event at all and would have preferred to be anywhere else.

Belichick's "miserable" appearance at the cheerleading event led to further trolling of the veteran coach on X, with some labeling his appearance at the competition as "humiliating."

"Pretty sure the lady next to him heard a 'send help' mumble," one user wrote, while another remarked, "This will never not be weird."

"Bill, dude. . . No! This is humiliating. I think his family should do an intervention," another user remarked.

"It's wild to think the generation behind me will remember Bill Belichick as this guy," one more person said.

Next up for UNC is a match against the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday, November 22, at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.

Both teams would be looking to overcome their previous loss, as Duke also lost 34 to 17 to Virginia in their last game.

UNC currently sits at 13th in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings, while Duke is ranked 6th.

If UNC wins the match, they must also defeat the next team on their schedule, North Carolina State, if they intend to achieve bowl eligibility.

The match against NC State will also be the final game of their schedule for the regular season and will be key to maintaining a strong standing in the ACC.
