Although she's likely facing one of the most challenging moments of her life, Wendy Osefo addressed the fraud allegations against her head-on at this year's BravoCon in Las Vegas. The reality star, who was arrested in early October 2025 alongside her husband, Eddie Osefo, stands accused by Maryland law enforcement officers of filing a false police report for a burglary that never happened, ultimately collecting large payouts from insurance companies over items that were reportedly never missing.

Wendy, a veteran "Real Housewives of Potomac" cast member, wasted no time tackling the toughest questions directed toward her at this year's BravoCon.
"I read your messages. I can’t respond to everyone, but your love and support means the world to me," Wendy said, according to social media videos. "You know, it’s an unfortunate situation, and right now I can’t say too much, but I will say when the time is right, I will share my story with everyone, and for now they’re just allegations, so we will continue to push forward."

As previously reported by The Blast, Wendy and Eddie are facing several felony fraud charges after reportedly claiming they were victims of a burglary in April 2024 that law enforcement officials believe never happened.
In court documents, Wendy and Eddie stand accused of reporting several luxury goods and designer items as stolen; however, Wendy was reportedly seen on social media wearing one of the items she claimed had gone missing.
During law enforcement's investigation, they found that several of the items Wendy and Eddie reportedly listed as stolen had already been returned to stores "where a full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary."

After Wendy and Eddie's arrest, the reality TV couple released a statement, revealing that they were in "good spirits" and looking forward to their day in court.
Shortly after, Wendy posted a carousel of images on Instagram, showcasing her stunning look in a body-hugging black dress, a large white hat, and blingy jewelry, according to The Blast.
"And through it all, GOD remains faithful," she captioned the post. "Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and, most importantly, my family during this time. We are forever grateful."
However, many fans expressed their disappointment with Wendy and accused the TV personality of displaying arrogant behavior.
"Why the photoshoot, though?" someone asked. "This is not a flex, sis."
"Just a paragraph would have [shown] a little humility," another user commented. "The good doctor did a whole photo shoot!"
"Does she know the severity of this, or just in denial? They'll need God, the Son, and His disciple to help them out of this," a third person wrote.
Bravo Stars Share Thoughts On Wendy And Eddie's Legal Troubles

It's unclear what the next steps are in Wendy and Eddie's fraud case, but that hasn't stopped her Bravo peers from sharing their thoughts on the surprising arrest.
Ashley Darby shaded the former political commentator during a singing event, joking, "We're making melodies, not felonies, if you know what I mean." Meanwhile, Robyn Dixon expressed her "disappointment" with the couple before questioning why they'd allegedly pull such a bold stunt.
Bravo's leading man, Andy Cohen, didn't offer much when pressed for his thoughts, aside from revealing that the situation had shaken him.
"I'm really sad about this," the "Watch What Happens Live" host said. "I'm a Wendy fan and she has been a great Housewife and a great role model."
