Prince William and Robert Irwin have taken their friendship to another level!
The duo is proving to the world that they do share a strong likeness for each other after the future King sweetly interrupted the conservationist during prep for his "Dancing With The Stars" set.
Prince William and Robert Irwin became close allies following their unbridled passion for the protection of the environment and the conservation of animals.
Prince William Admitted To Missing Robert Irwin

The father of three popped by at "DWTS" where Irwin is currently a contestant to leave a goodwill message and share a few chats. Irwin, who is currently partnered with Witney Carson on the show, was pleasantly surprised at the gesture, which happened virtually.
Irwin enquired how William was faring, following the event which took place in Rio on November 5. The animal activist was reportedly expected to join William at the event, but he was held up due to fulfilling his commitment to "DWTS" since he was still in the running.
"I need you down here," replied William to Irwin's question, before wishing him good luck on the dancing show and stressing that the animal activist had a good shot at winning the season.
Page Six reported that Irwin's partner, Carson, was very pleasantly shocked at Prince William checking in and even knowing her name.
The Prince Previously Crashed The Environmentalist Radio Appearance

Back in June, the royal made a similar sweet gesture while Irwin appeared on Radio 2. William went the extra mile by leaving a message for his dear friend and inviting him to the Earthshot Prize event.
Scott Mills played the voice note where William eulogized his friend for his brilliance and tagged him a worthy ambassador of the Earthshot Prize. William was probably billed to appear on the show alongside Irwin, and he duly apologized for his absence.
The prince then chipped in a friendly note of warning to Mills, advising her to look out for Irwin during the interview, as he may likely pull a fast one on her by pulling out several scary animals from his pocket. William emphasized that such behavior in the air is very typical of his friend.
Prince William And Robert Irwin Have Come A Very Long Way

The duo met for the first time in South Africa at the Earthshot Awards in 2024 and immediately struck a connection based on Irwin's admirable efforts towards conservation. As shared by The Blast, Irwin praised William for his incredible work ethic and concern for safeguarding animals and the planet.
He noted that William had put his platform to good use by using his platform and influence to advocate for the protection of the environment, and working with him has been a great opportunity.
Irwin also acknowledged the impressive synergy between them, which has helped them record massive success in environmental activism.
Last year, Irwin was awarded the global ambassador tag at the Earthshot Prize in 2024. He was one of the five individuals who got recognized for their service in advocating for and protecting the environment for the year.
The Future King Reportedly Wants The Zookeeper Inside The Royal Circle

Well, William also wants to bring Irwin into the glamorous world of royalty as he genuinely believes he has the charisma, work ethic, and poise to "truly inspire the next generation."
A source told Royal Insider that the prince has Irwin on the list of those who will make helpful contributions to his planned wildlife special.
The father-of-two is reportedly very impressed to see how Irwin and his sister, Bindi, have worked hard to sustain and promote their father's sterling legacy. Robert Irwin's dad, Steve Irwin, was a famous Australian conservationist known as the "Crocodile Hunter."
Steve passed on in 2006, three years after he welcomed Robert, who is now very involved in conservation activities at the Australian Zoo. The duo seemingly shares real mutual respect for conservation, and the prince is convinced that things will only get better with their co-operation and collaboration.

The young environmentalist does not fail to win hearts on all stages, including the dance show. On its 20th anniversary, Today shared that he, alongside Carson, danced to Leona Lewis' "Footprints in the Sand."
The song represented a considerable part of their family's legacy, as Bindi had also performed it when she competed on the dance show alongside Derek Hough for its 21st season. Bindi had dedicated the performance to their late father, and it was equally an emotional one.
Bindi was super proud of her brother for taking on such a brave, yet emotional routine. In her words, "A part of me healed that day. So now I hope that Robert gets that same experience."
