Kelsea Ballerini & Chase Stokes Reportedly 'Fell Back Into It Very Naturally'

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes did not fall out of love despite their brief split.

The love pair who went hard with their romance reportedly split up for a bit following their two-year relationship. They have now rekindled their love in a snap, and it is evident that the time apart did not diminish their love for each other.

Kelsea Ballerini started dating Chase Stokes in 2023, shortly after finalizing her divorce from Morgan Evans, whom she had been married to for five years. The swift reentry into the dating pool had put some strain on her new relationship with Stokes.

Ballerini and Stokes are back like they never left following their brief split. According to an insider, "Kelsea and Chase are giving their relationship another try. There’s still a lot of love there, so they fell back into it very naturally."

They have been spotted together in Scotland near Edinburgh Castle earlier this month. This comes just two months after their breakup was confirmed. The split was hard on both parties and was fueled by arguments, messy communication, and a lot of traveling for their jobs.

Ballerini allegedly initiated the conversation for the breakup, and they were both mature about it, as Chase understood they were on different paths at the time. Also, she was still trying to get herself together after her divorce from Evans.

An eyewitness, Gemma Kennedy, told Us Weekly that she had met Stokes and Ballerini during one of their outings at the Cannonball Restaurant & Bar in October.

She described them as "the sweetest people," revealing that she chatted with Stokes about his plans to go on holiday to Scotland before returning to Croatia to film the final season of "Outer Banks." As regards PDA, Kennedy revealed that the pair were all lovey-dovey, holding hands at the bar.

The singer and Netflix star were first linked in 2023 after she slid into his DMs. During an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in February of the same year, she disclosed that her manager gave her Stokes' handle after telling her to consider being with him if she was ready. 

They both agreed that he was cute, and she took the leap and said hi, and the rest is history. Speaking on their relationship earlier this year, Ballerini revealed that they are both evolving, adding that they challenge each other, as that makes the relationship not stagnant or boring.

The musician also disclosed that their relationship was not the same as it was when they first started dating. They share some similarities and challenge each other with their differences; nevertheless, she wants all the good things in the world for him.

Stokes was vocal about his desire to keep things pertaining to their relationship private. He expressed that the constant interference of the public into their love life was an over-sharing situation that left too many details out in the open.

Reports gathered by The Blast also claimed that although the couple seemed all head over heels with each other, some jealousy ensued on Stokes' part behind the scenes. Rumors were that he was unable to put up with the musicians' lifestyle and fame.

He was also allegedly uncomfortable with Ballerini's independence and heightened career. He also often thought that the singer was out there flirting or putting their relationship at risk whenever they are not physically together or she is busy with her own schedule. 

A week after their previous split was confirmed, Ballerini sent a loud message to people whose goals were to spread information about her personal life. She posted a TikTok aimed at those who continued to spread gossip about her. 

In the video, she was dressed in a simple white tank top as she leaned on a couch, sipping her energy drink. The post was captioned "CC: speculators, 'sources', and hidden cameras outside the hair salon. Let us be. please." 

She vibed to Ariana Grande's "Shut Up" and pointed at the camera right when the lyrics said, "maybe you should shut up," sending a clear message to fans that she wants her privacy at this time, and the whispers were uncalled for.

During the early half of the year, while on her Heartfirst tour, fans caught a glimpse of the couple's love bond.  Ballerini was performing the 'healed version' of her 2023 breakup song, "Penthouse," when she paused and looked over at Stokes mischievously. 

As reported by The Blast, she grinned sheepishly, turned, and ran toward the corner of the stage where he was watching the show. She then hugged him and kissed his lips quickly before returning to continue her performance.

Fans roared with applause and cheers, and a clip of the moment went viral, to which many followers hinted that they should get married.
