Antonio Brown and his lawyers are clinging to self-defense in his attempted murder case!
The NFL wide receiver's legal team is on its toes to keep him out of serious trouble after allegedly firing two shots at a man following a boxing event in Miami.
Antonio Brown was recently extradited from the United Arab Emirates and is now in New Jersey, waiting to get to South Florida for his trial.
Antonio Brown's Rep Is Passionate About Defending His Good Name

The wide receiver's attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, explained ahead of his trial that his alleged altercation at the event was an act of self-defense. He insisted that his client was right not to plead guilty to the charge of 2nd degree attempted murder.
"The actions he was forced to take were solely in self-defense against the alleged victim's violent behavior," Eiglarsh explained, adding that he took the case because he passionately believed in Brown's defense.
The attorney stated that Brown was attacked that night and acted within his legal right to ensure his protection from an individual who had previously committed criminal acts against him.
"It's a privilege to represent him, and I am determined to ensure that justice is served," Eiglarsh explained to TMZ as he entered a not-guilty plea on Brown's behalf.
If Brown gets a guilty verdict from the judge at the end of his trial, he is likely to bag a 15-year jail term as punishment for the attempted murder.
Inside The Athlete's Extradition From The United Arab Emirates

The NFL star allegedly attempted to evade justice in the United States by hiding in Dubai. However, luck ran out on him when he got detained overseas and was eventually handed over to federal agents from America.
The Blast affirmed that the agents then escorted him to New York for transfer to local authorities in Florida, where the crime occurred.
Brown will now face one count of attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon and will be held at the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections the moment he arrives in Florida.
This is not Brown's first run-in with the law; in 2023, he was arrested in Florida for owing $30,000 in child support to his ex, Wiltrice Jackson. He was also declared wanted for domestic battery in 2022, but the case was dropped.
His NFL journey also experienced a huge blow when he removed his jersey mid-game against the New York Jets, which heralded his exit from the Buccaneers.

As reported by The Blast, the athlete was linked to an attempted murder incident by Miami-Dade authorities, who issued a warrant for his arrest. In the clip, Brown reportedly released gunshots during a fight, which turned the place upside down.
According to witnesses at the scene, a fight broke out after a group of men approached Brown over a piece of jewelry. The next phase after that was Brown exchanging blows with this group, and the whole thing resulted in him leaving the scene with a firearm and the sound of gunfire.
A man, Zül-Qarnaįn, identified as a part of the group, claimed their meeting with Brown was not to steal from him, but Brown insisted the opposite, and claimed he merely acted in self-defense.

Two years ago, the athlete, who has not played in the NFL since 2021, was arrested and locked up following his failure to pay up his child support dues. According to The Blast, Wiltrice Jackson, Brown’s baby mama, revealed that the former NFL player owed over $30,000 in unpaid child support.
Jackson noted that she wants him to face the wrath of the law because, for a long time, Brown had acted like he was untouchable by the law. By August 2023, Jackson’s prayer came to pass, and the NFL alum was ordered to be arrested for missing child support payments.
The arrest came a year after Brown went viral for his indecent conduct towards a woman in an outdoor pool in Dubai. In the clip, the athlete was seen shoving his bum in a fellow swimmer’s face and even flashing his manhood while he was in the water.
The encounter descended into more outrageous conduct, and Brown was ultimately escorted out of the hotel following the event.

Antonio Brown Recently Joined The Donald Trump Criticism Train

Away from his legal drama, Brown got busy with the current political climate in America, and he took a jab at Trump by criticizing his policies. Brown loudly reacted to the trending political debate on X in a post by Eric Daugherty of the Florida Voice Reporter.
In the post, House lawmakers had introduced a bill to mint 400,000 silver coins with Charlie Kirk's image in 2006, which Brown described as a political distraction to shifting the focus away from the Epstein files.
He made this post while he was away from the USA, and the scenario was somewhat similar to the stunt he pulled back in April, where he avoided a critical court hearing for his bankruptcy case.
Brown was later discovered to have appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast the next day after he claimed he was too sick to attend the court hearing.
Which way will the hammer of justice swing for Antonio Brown?
