There's been a lot of news in the last few weeks about the new Jackass movie. Sadly, most of the news has revolved around Bam Margera and his issues with the rest of the crew. The crew though does seem keen to put those issues behind them and continue their promo work ahead of the release of the new film.

As part of this promo work, Jackass regulars like Steve-O and Chris Pontious joined Discovery Channel's Shark Week lineup.

So far there has been no official word as to what exactly happened in the incident. There are a couple of things that we can be pretty sure of even before getting a chance to watch the full show. It's highly likely that no one was seriously injured in the incident. Otherwise, there is really no way that the footage would have made it to the official trailer.

That being said, there were some rumors about a serious injury to one of the crew members in the last couple of weeks. This may just be the incident that people had been referencing. There just isn't enough news to be able to confirm who suffered an injury or not.

Of Course, This Is Not The First Time That These Guys Have Put Themselves In Similar Danger

This stunt is certainly not the first one that the Jackass crew ever try that involves swimming with sharks. Actually, Steve-O and Chris Pontious had a spin-off show called Wild Boyz where they would do all sorts of stunts around wildlife. They had a very famous bit where they put on a zebra costume and walked through a herd of lions.

When it comes to sharks directly Steve-O had also done a bit where he puts a fish hook through his own cheek. Then he jumped into shark-infested waters. Of course, there were other crew members on hand to help him out. In that instance, though it seems that he had a close call!

The movie and all of the subsequent promo appearances that the crew is doing seem to be going on as planned and without estranged cast member Bam Margera. It wasn't long ago that he took to social media to bash Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the crew.

In that same week, things went from bad to worse in that relationship. When the director of the film solicited and ultimately was granted a restraining order from Bam. At this point, his chances of coming back to the film seem to be all but gone!
