Chrishell Stause's exit from "Selling Sunset" has left the show producers in dire search for a substitute.
The actress shockingly announced that she would not be returning to the show after being featured for nine solid seasons. She is now financially balanced and does not need the income from the show, as it has taken a toll on her otherwise.
Chrishell Stause announced her exit from the show after butting heads with other co-stars and having a brawl over her partner's sexuality. She is also unsatisfied with the image the show painted of her personality.
'Selling Sunset' Is Wasting No Time On Chrishell Stause Replacement

After filming for nine seasons and gracing the reality show's screens, Stause eventually had her curtain call. However, before she announced her exit, producers were already in search of a replacement for the 44-year-old.
Their search list is centered on getting a big celebrity cast member to join the show next season. They have previously cast celeb-adjacent realtors on the show like Sofia Vergara's little sister, Sandra, and one of Nick Cannon's baby mamas, Bre Tiesi.
Right now, their focus is on how big the celebrity is rather than their experience in real estate. As long as the cast celebrity is willing to go for their real estate license on the show, and be able to show a few homes, they are good to go.
According to The Daily Mail, some Hollywood managers have been contacted to see if they have any famous clients who would do the show, but so far, there have been no callbacks. Also, the crazy drama between members of the current cast has been a turn-off for major celebrities.
The Reality Star Claims Her Exit Is Due To Her Mental Health

Stause has been on the show since it premiered in 2019 and has filmed nine seasons so far. She revealed that her reason for exiting the show was due to the adverse effect the pressure of filming had taken on her.
"I've gotten to a place where I don't need the show financially. I'm lucky to have other forms of employment, because it's no longer good for my mental health," she said. She praised the show for the opportunities she has received as a result of being part of the cast.
The TV star added that this was not the way she had envisioned leaving the show, but she is taking it all in good stride. According to her, she left on her own terms, and the creator, Adam DiVello, has made several attempts to get her back.
The 44-Year-Old Had Major Clashes With Fellow Co-Stars On The Show

Stause claimed that her fellow castmates were problematic. Her last days on the show featured a major blowout with Emma Hernan, her former friend. Emma is in a relationship with Blake Davis, and this does not roll well with Stause.
She claims that Davis compared being nonbinary to having a mental illness, and this hit close to home as Stauses' partner is nonbinary. She further claims that he openly expresses hate for trans people as well. The reality star also expressed displeasure with how she was portrayed on the show.
The Blast notes that she said in an interview that she was being painted as the overbearing friend, and they deliberately cut out parts that would have shown a better side of her. However, she admits that she holds no bitterness towards the show and her castmates.
The Shocking Exit Weighed In By 'Selling Sunset' Star

Tiesi claims that since she joined the show, Stause had threatened to leave the show every season. She also claims that she is indifferent to her leaving or staying, as Stause is irrelevant to her life. She also affirmed that the 44-year-old was at odds with many of their costars but could not tell why.
Tiesi could only speculate that her former castmate might be trying to make a change in her life. Tiesi, Stause, and Hernan were initially a tight-knit trio, but they fell apart in season nine of the show amid conflict with another costar.
According to UsWeekly, Tiesi also admitted that the show lost a sense of direction amid the numerous feuds, and even her personality was not fully showcased on the screens.
Chrishell Stause Previously Slammed Another Co-Star For Allegedly Telling Lies

Nicole Young, an alum of the show, was previously dragged for allegedly spreading lies for clout. She was accused of spreading a damaging rumor about Stause and her pal at the time, Hernan.
According to The Blast, Stause even threatened to leave the show if the producers kept Young on the show. She claimed Young did it to gather fame, and she would rather be sued than work on a show with her again.
This came about a year after Stause and G-Flip tied the knot in a private ceremony in Vegas. She described the marriage with them as a perfect blend of having a best friend and a partner all in one. They were introduced while apartment hunting, flirted a bit after meeting at a party, and the rest is history.
