Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Using AI For 'Legal Advice'

Speaking with Vanity Fair about the new scripted show she's in, created by Ryan Murphy, Kim denied using ChatGPT for life or dating advice. However, she did confess to using the system for "legal advice," sharing that it's helped her come up with answers to tough legal exam questions.

"When I need to know the answer to a question, I'll take a picture and snap it and put it in there," the mother of four said before revealing the wildest part of the story.

"It has made me fail tests ... all the time," she added. "And then I'll get mad and I'll yell at it."

Also in the Vanity Fair interview was Kim's "All's Fair" co-star, Teyana Taylor, who asked the reality star whether she considered ChatGPT to be a "frenemy," to which Kim replied, "Yes, a frenemy."

"And then it'll say back to me, 'This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts. So you knew the answer all along,'" she added.

When Taylor said, "So, [ChatGPT] clocked you," Kardashian replied, "Clocked me."

And while Kim might appreciate the life advice, the "Kardashians" star said she needs ChatGPT to be "better" because she's relying on the system to help her prepare for her hopeful new life as a celebrity lawyer.

"But they need to do better because I'm leaning to them to really help me and she is teaching me a life lesson and then becoming my therapist to tell me why I need to believe in myself after they got the answer wrong," she said. "It's like a thing. I screenshot all the time and send it in my group chat. Like, can you believe this bitch is talking to me like this? This is insane."

One reason Kim is likely hoping to pass the California bar exam on the first try is to prove her detractors wrong, according to a 2019 report from PEOPLE. Sources shared at the time that the reality star knew "some people are laughing at her for the lawyer thing," however, she wasn't bothered by the comments.

"She is focused that this is what she wants to do, and she’s going to do it, regardless of what people think," the source added before sharing why the socialite is the perfect person to advocate for others in a courtroom.

"She has a fantastic memory. She can process multiple things at once," they said. "She’s great at multitasking and at time management. She can grasp very complex concepts. She has a very strong sense of what she believes, and is extremely persuasive. She’s also a very hard worker."

And when she's not studying for the California bar exam, Kim is on the set of her new scripted series, "All's Fair," playing a powerhouse attorney alongside other iconic actresses, such as Niecy Nash and Sarah Paulson.

According to The Blast, the SKIMS founder got inspiration for her character, Allura Grant, from her family's attorney, Laura Wasser.
