Salma Hayek Told Plunging Glitter Dress 'Too Tight' And 'Unflattering'

Salma Hayek fell under fire as her latest red carpet look went viral last weekend. On Saturday night, the actress dolled herself up for the LACMA Art+Film Gala, slipping her curves into a shimmery green gown while displaying her famous figure. Flashing her ample chest in a liquid-effect gown, Salma went skintight in her plunging dress, one earning praise from some, but also plenty of criticism. The House of Gucci star had some users saying that the dress was "awful," with one user telling her it was way too "tight" and didn't "flatter" her. Salma, 59, attended the star-studded event with husband Francois-Henri Pinault. "Gorgeous woman, bad dress" was just one of the negative remarks left.

The MCU star, who made headlines earlier this year for her SI Swim feature, put her incredible cleavage on display while going cinched at the waist, showcasing her signature hourglass curves as she wore a jaw-dropping diamond and ruby necklace.

Rocking vertical paneled stitching and loose sleeves, Salma dazzled while wearing a heavy face of makeup, barely showing a wrinkle as she continues to defy her age. The Hollywood star also clutched a black purse, with one photo showing her look full-length as she placed one hand on her waist. This year's event was also attended by the likes of actress Demi Moore, singer Demi Lovato, plus supermodel mom and daughter duo Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber.

"The dress and the necklace do not go together, I think. Best wishes," one Just Jared fan replied. "She's pretty, but this dress looks terrible," another said.

While some called Salma Hayek "beautiful," those negative comments just kept on coming. "Nothing against the person inside, but the dress looks like a sausage casing. Why do women with great figures tend to wear clothes that are too tight and make them look unflattering?!?" one user said. Salma also posted her look on Instagram, sharing a gallery of photos showing her in her glam dress as she posed solo, with her 2009-married husbands, plus some of the night's guests. Her share earned over 270,000 likes, including a celebrity one from SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian.
