Lily Allen is ready to move on from her ex and get with the next.
The English singer recently opened up about getting over a broken heart and moving on from her husband of four years, David Harbour. Although she isn’t in a definitive relationship yet, she has been meeting up with a few people.
Allen recently released her first studio album in seven years, offering insights into the challenges she faced during her marriage, which include cheating allegations.
Lily Allen Is Not Interested In Dating Another Famous Person

Following the release of her new project, “West End Girl,” Allen had a candid conversation with Interview Magazine, where she opened up about love and heartbreak.
When asked about her current love life and whether she is dating anyone, laughing, Allen answered, “Maybe,” and revealed that she has tried dating apps but has had an “awful” experience with them.
For the “Not Fair” singer, using dating apps often turned out to be “depressing” because she encountered “hundreds of people that are nothing like the person” she was truly missing. And although she found herself looking for her ex in the new people she met after the breakup, she’s still not particularly interested in dating anyone famous again.
“I’m not really looking to go out with another famous person. Also, when I go on dates with other people, there’s a bit of a barrier in terms of—not so much here, but in England it’s a bit of a novelty to be on a date with me,” Allen said.
The 40-year-old artist also shared the hilarious story of joining Hinge in search of a new romantic interest. However, she got banned because the app assumed she was impersonating herself.
Lily Allen Reveals Her Secret To Getting Through A Breakup

During the conversation, the "Smile" singer shared her tips for getting over a broken heart. Allen revealed that the thing that has helped her the most is going out and socializing with other people.
She shared that heartbreak often leaves her feeling destabilized. As such, going out and being around other people helps her remember that she can rely on friends and family to take care of the things she relied on her former partner for.
“I’m guilty of putting all of it on one person when I’m in a relationship. So when that person leaves, I feel completely bereft and it takes me a while to be like, ‘Actually, I can rely on friends for some of this stuff as well,’” Allen explained.
Lily Allen Lamented About The ‘Bitterly Disappointing’ Dating Scene

Since releasing her fifth studio album, which many have termed a revenge project, Allen has candidly spoken about being single again in her 40s.
As The Blast reported, the “LDN” singer admitted to missing the stability and comfort of being married. She also lamented the dating scene, noting that finding love at her age is much harder than it was years ago.
“The dating scene is much harder as a 40-year-old woman with two teenage children than it is for a 34-year-old woman. It’s bitterly disappointing,” she said.
The Singer Seemingly Name-Dropped David Harbour’s Alleged Mistress In Her New Album

Allen was thrown back into the dating pool after walking away from her marriage to Harbour amid rumours of infidelity on the actor’s side.
In her new album, the Grammy Award nominee didn’t hold back on asking thought-provoking questions that led fans to believe she was directly speaking to her ex-lover’s alleged mistress.
In one song, the lyrics read, “I can't trust anything that comes out of his mouth… Who the f-ck is Madeline?” per The Blast.
Although many speculated that Madeline was the person who allegedly came between Allen and Harbour, the singer later came forward to address the rumours. She said that Madeline was just a fictional character and nothing more.
David Harbour Recently Enjoyed A Family Outing With Lily Allen’s Children

Although Harbour has remained silent about the cheating allegations, the "Stranger Things" star is all about prioritizing the well-being of Allen’s two children.
One day after Allen released “West End Girl,” the 50-year-old actor was spotted at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, enjoying time with his stepchildren at the theme park.
The Blast reported that Harbour dutifully played the stepfather role and appeared to be having a “great time” with the kids, who were “all smiles,” according to an eyewitness account.
