This isn't the first time the "Something Beautiful" artist has spoken about her love and appreciation for the Destiny's Child alum.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Cyrus said she gained a new level of appreciation for Beyoncé after seeing her prep for her record-breaking "Cowboy Carter" tour, which grossed over $400 million and became the highest-grossing country tour of all time.

"... getting to see her show live, it feels like a moment of where, you know, you talk to someone about getting to see, you know, Prince or someone that's the best of the best, Michael Jackson," she said.

"I think that she deserves to kind of have this queen essence surrounding her constantly, just because I do think it's so fluid between both of her worlds and between the persona and personally, it's always been really well integrated," Cyrus added. "It feels like who she is on stage is an elevated, kind of eccentric version of who she is day to day."

While Cyrus and Beyoncé first crossed paths in the early aughts for a charity performance, the former Disney star said her relationship with the "RENAISSANCE" singer began to blossom when she reached out to inquire about collaborating, which led to "II MOST WANTED."

In an interview with W Magazine, Cyrus revealed that she wrote the song "two and a half years ago," but when Beyoncé called, she thought of it almost instantly because "it really encompasses our relationship."

Following its release in 2024, "II MOST WANTED" went on to debut at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also snagged the Grammy award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

"I told her, ‘We don’t have to get country; we are country. We’ve been country,’” Cyrus explained. “I said ‘You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song.’ Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true."

Cyrus Couldn't Contain Her Gratitude For Queen Bey

Elsewhere in her interview with Vogue France, Cyrus spoke about her latest album, "Something Beautiful," which received praise from fans and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

The project follows her highly successful 2023 project, "Endless Summer Vacation," which spawned the hits "Flowers," "River," and "Jaded," and resulted in Cyrus winning her first two Grammys for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

While "Something Beautiful" is primarily a pop album, a few tracks feature rock elements, a genre that means a lot to Cyrus.

"Just look at Stevie Nicks, her theatricality, her scarves, her capes and her look … That’s really who she is on a daily basis, I can attest to that. When you see Joan Jett on stage, you know she’s wearing the same black leather pants backstage. And David Bowie wore platform shoes and stellar jumpsuits with disconcerting ease!" she said.
