Brittany Cartwright Sends Body Positivity Message While Flaunting Surgery Results

Brittany Cartwright is feeling great and recovering well after undergoing recent surgery.

The reality star shared an empowering message with fellow women while dropping an update on her recent body work. Although she did not specify the exact procedure she underwent, she remains open about her recovery journey and claims she is getting rid of body parts she no longer needs.

Brittany Cartwright is focused on embracing her happiness in her own skin and doing whatever it takes to feel great after her five-year marriage to Jax Taylor ended.

Cartwright shares on social media that it's been three weeks since she had a procedure she claims she has wanted to do for years. Even though she is still on her healing journey, she feels content with her decision and remains focused on getting better every day.

The TV personality reveals that her surgery sites are a "little sore and still swollen," but despite these, she is doing amazing.

The update on her recovery was followed by a positive message, which she added by writing how she felt happy with her choice and that everyone should do what makes them happy with their body.

The Instagram post was a mirror selfie picture of herself, and her caption ended with Cartwright acknowledging the differences that exist on the subject of body modifications, as she stressed that:

"Everyone may not take the route I chose, and I truly believe a woman's body is incredible, no matter what, and deserves all the love!"

Cartwright got a lot of love in the comment section from fans and well-wishers. Countless heart emojis flooded in, and many others complimented her, writing about how beautiful she looked after the operation.

Some users gave advice on recovering, noting that being swollen, as she wrote, was normal for a while. A few others shared their own personal details about procedures they had undergone, the emotional struggles that came along with the body changes, and stated that they had no regrets.

Since Cartwright did not disclose the exact procedure she had, many other fans in the comments either outrightly asked what she had done, and others just speculated she either had a tummy tuck or had her breast implants removed.

Before her recent post, Cartwright shared updates to her Instagram story earlier this month, revealing how she felt so much better having her surgical tubes removed.

Because she did not initially specify, but instead said, "So I feel so free, and I feel so much better. It's crazy how much better I instantly felt with having the tubes removed," many fans thought she was referring to her fallopian tubes.

The TV star then made another post revealing she had received DM's and had to clarify that she was referring to her drain tubes before adding, "I still have my fallopian tubes." The Blast also reports that Cartwright announced her surgery as the beginning of a new era for her. 

She described this long-overdue decision as representing a removal of parts that no longer served her. Her representative, Lori Kreb, explained that it was more than just a beauty procedure, referring to it as a "mommy makeover."

Although the reality TV star is all about body positivity and doing what brings happiness to your life, a year ago, it was revealed that her intentions for the procedures stemmed from her desire to snag a "revenge body."

The Blast in a previous release covered that Cartwright had allegedly undergone multiple other surgeries, but had only opened up about getting a lipo in her jaw and the lower parts of her face to remove her double chin.

Cartwright developed some insecurities after childbirth, mostly about her lower abdomen, and desired to regain her lost sparkle. The treatment was part of her plan to "feel great" about her body following the end of her marriage to Jax Taylor in August 2024.

Following the end of her five-year marriage, Cartwright reentered the dating pool and got into a relationship with Brandon Hanson. The romance did not last as the pair broke it off two months later.

The TV personality confirms the split was amicable and expressed her hopes that they would remain friends before adding that she intends to prioritize herself and heal as a single woman.

It was also revealed that Hanson was allegedly still married to his wife while being in a romantic relationship with Cartwright, creating some love triangle drama that was not well received by fans, who voiced opinions that she should focus on herself and raising her son, Cruz.
