Britney Spears' Ex Slams Her For Partying More Than Parenting

Britney Spears is once again in the headlines, thanks to more explosive claims from her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

In his new memoir, "You Thought You Knew," Federline paints a troubling picture of their past, alleging that the star was more interested in partying with Hollywood elites than focusing on motherhood.

This new claim comes after another shocking claim from the same book, where Kevin Federline alleged that their son, Preston, once told him Britney Spears had punched him in the face.

Federline recalls getting a late-night phone call that changed everything. The 47-year-old says he could hear their sons, Preston and Jayden, crying in the background while Spears was on the line, not alone, but with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

It was around 3 or 4 a.m., and all three, he claims, were "drunk as h-ll, begging me to come over." However, hearing his children in distress confirmed to him that Spears had lost her focus as a mother.

"That was it," Federline explained, adding that any "sliver of hope that we might still somehow pull it together for the kids, died right then." 

The Daily Mail shares that Federline had already seen the photos of Spears partying with the Hollywood pair. The incident, he says, marked the point of no return in their troubled marriage.

As for the kids in question and how they felt about having their business out in the open, Federline says his new memoir has the blessing of all six of his children, including the two sons he shares with Spears.

He shared that before publishing the book, he made sure Preston and Jayden, as well as his four other kids, understood why he was doing it and were completely on board.

He also addressed rumors that his move to Hawaii was a ploy to extend child support payments for his sons with Spears, calling the claims "ridiculous." Federline clarified that California still governs all matters related to his custody, divorce, and finances.

Federline shares his eldest children, Kori and Kaleb, with actress Shar Jackson, and two younger daughters, Jordan and Peyton, with his current wife, Victoria Prince.

Before the latest revelation, Federline's memoir had painted a disturbing picture of his past life with Spears, filled with shocking and painful allegations about their time together.

The Blast shared that in one passage, Federline claimed the pop star once wished death on their sons and forced one of them to take a bath with her when he was around 10 or 11. He also alleged that she fed their younger son shellfish despite knowing about his allergy.

Federline further alleged that Preston once told him Spears punched him in the face, adding that she had moments when she would stand outside their children's room with a knife in hand.

He went on to claim that Spears used cocaine while breastfeeding and even bleached the boys' hair, causing chemical burns.

Days after Federline made headlines with alarming claims about her parenting, Spears appeared to issue a powerful response through one of her most revealing Instagram posts yet.

The Blast reported that the pop icon posted a photo of herself riding a horse through the desert. But it was her lengthy caption, referencing "Maleficent," that truly caught attention.

Spears compared herself to the wingless villain, writing that she felt her "wings were taken away" and that she had suffered "brain damage" a while back. She reflected on her 13-year conservatorship, calling it a "traumatic experience" that stripped her of freedom.

Despite the pain, Spears said she has "moved on" and feels "blessed to be alive," adding that dancing and sharing her life online has helped her "remember how to fly."

Spears' team also pushed back hard after Federline's claims about her motherhood in his memoir. The Blast noted that the mother-of-two's spokesperson publicly accused Federline of using Spears' name for profit, just months after she stopped paying him child support.

"With news from Kevin's book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her," the rep's fiery statement read, calling his remarks "disingenuous."

The representative emphasized that Spears' focus remains solely on her children's well-being amid the media chaos, noting that she has already opened up about her struggles and growth in her bestselling memoir, "The Woman in Me."
