Cierra Ortega’s Instagram has been buzzing since she left the “Love Island” villa.

Many public personalities who face public backlash often struggle to recover from it. But not Ortega. Despite being heavily slammed for her past racist remarks, she has refused to be canceled.

Recently, she celebrated her 26th birthday and also made an appearance at the NYLON Membership launch party in September, an invite-only event. Her look for the party wowed fans, with one dragging fellow “Love Island USA” star, Nicolas "Nic" Vansteenberghe.

Cierra Ortega’s outfit for the NYLON Membership launch event was a bold blend of textures and layers that came together perfectly. She wore a sheer lace dress over black briefs, cinched with what appeared to be a corset.

Over that, she added a glossy asymmetrical top with crinkled texture and grommet detailing, which introduced an edgy contrast to the softness of the lace underneath. One fan crowned her “the fashionable queen.”

Four days later, Cierra Ortega shared 12 slides of her official birthday photos and celebration with friends. She stunned in a strapless red mini dress with a sculpted bodice, flaring into a voluminous, ruffled skirt around her hips.

The look came alive with matching opera-length gloves, a red choker flower at her neck, and red heels. She was draped from head to toe in red, daring her new age, “Show me what you can do.” Again, fans wished her a happy birthday while one noticed “none of the island girls pulled up.”

Cierra Ortega faced intense public backlash during “Love Island USA” season 7 after old social media posts resurfaced showing her repeatedly using an anti-Asia racial slur. She has since apologized, acknowledging her ignorance and expressing regret.

Even though she continued to face criticism, she never cowered, focusing rather on rebuilding her image and pursuing new opportunities.

Her attendance at the NYLON Membership launch party suggests she’s one of the creators invited to join the exclusive network. Also, she captioned the post “Making waves,” likely a hint that her influencer career is taking new heights.
