Well, the media has done Wendy Williams this one huge favor!
Apparently, the former talk show host would have remained unaware of the state of her finances if not for the information published on the pages of a reputable media outlet.
Wendy Williams has been working to pick up the pieces of her life in recent times, amid her ongoing guardianship program. Her act of reintegration back into society included outings with friends and attending fashion events.
Wendy Williams Is Reportedly Very Concerned About Her Finances

The former TV host received a shock of her life when she read the New York Magazine article written about her. The piece, with Williams on the cover story, analyzed her story so far, from her ongoing guardianship to her efforts to break free from Sabrina Morrissey’s hold.
It was while reading the article that Williams reportedly discovered how much she was doling out on monthly rent for her apartment in the Coterie. The media personality paid approximately $25,000 in rent, as opposed to the initial $18,000 she believed was her monthly bill.
As reported by Page Six, Williams now has growing concerns about her net worth and believes Morrissey is causing a leak in her purse. The vast sum paid as monthly rent in the facility and the author’s lack of cash flow have also increased her anxiety.
The mother-of-one reportedly has no idea how much she pays for Uber and taxi fees while she steps out in New York. On top of that, she also has to survive on a meagre allowance of $200-$300 weekly, which she uses to purchase Twizzlers and magazines.

It was a September to remember for the former disc jockey who took out the time to check out new designs from the front row at the NYFW. As reported by The Blast, Williams made an appearance at the Bach Mai show held on the beachfront.
She was also fashionably punctual at designer Dennis Basso's preview on Monday, accompanied by Max Tucci, her niece, Alex Finnie, and her fiancé, Eric Houston. The former show host was dressed in a yellow short suit as she chatted the night away with Baruch Shemtov and well-wishers who surrounded her.
Williams' legs were on full display for the night as Basso took her around the venue and had her take several pictures with younger attendees, complimenting everyone's looks. Designer LaQuan Smith also invited the TV veteran to his runway show and even offered to dress her in one of his collections.
Wendy Williams' Close Circle Gave Sterling Reviews About Her Cognitive Health

The BET alum has repeatedly stressed her determination to break free from her guardianship and move on with her life as any normal person should. The Blast reported that an insider noted Williams had expressed her desire to own an apartment in New York and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
One of the star's long-time friends, Reverend Al Sharpton, during a visit to her facility earlier in the year, reaffirmed that she still acts like the old Wendy and her vitals are very intact. Her lawyer, Joe Tacopina, also argued on her behalf that her cognitive abilities were very much intact.
Williams herself gave life to the narrative when she used her famous TV line, "How you doin'," to a media outlet representative before asking if she looked like someone with any signs of dementia.
The Mother-Of-One's Legal Guardian Insisted She Was Not Out Of The Doghouse Just Yet

The entertainer reportedly underwent a series of tests this year to reaffirm and reevaluate her mental alertness to see if her guardianship has served its purpose. Despite these moves, Williams' guardian revealed that her evaluation results have shown that things are not looking up for the media personality.
Morrissey noted that Williams' stay under the guardianship program would require an extension till at least November 5, to cross the T's and dot the I's. While the legally appointed guardian did not reveal the diagnosis, sources claim that she was again diagnosed with FTD and aphasia.
In a previous evaluation, the former TV host's former caretaker, Ginalia Monterrosa, claimed that Williams passed her tests in flying colors and that she is not mentally unstable in any way.
Wendy Williams' Ex-Husband Also Agitated For The End Of Her Guardianship

The media personality's former partner filed a lawsuit in June, claiming it was intended to ensure Williams regained her freedom from an unfair and unlawful system.
Kevin Hunter stated that his ex-wife was experiencing mistreatment, illegal confinement, and mismanagement of her assets under the program.
He slammed Morrissey for failing to protect the Hollywood legend from unnecessary medication for a misdiagnosis, which has endangered her health to a great extent.
He accused the judge of denying his former partner the right to proper legal representation and failing to review the facts properly before affirming that she has cognitive problems.
However, Williams has responded to the lawsuit from Hunter, which included a demand for a lump sum in damages. The former disc jockey insisted that Hunter was purely after his selfish interest and just wanted a quick cash grab.
Will Wendy Williams take any legal steps to address her finances?
