Dakota Johnson In See-Through Dress Offers Requested 'Back View'

Dakota Johnson is officially Hollywood's sheer queen. The Fifty Shades star, who made February 2024 headlines for exposing nearly everything in a mesh-netted, braless dress for the Madame Web premiere, has kept up her see-through streak in 2025, and her latest look came with plenty of glam. Showcasing her killer curves in a totally see-through, black dress at this year's Kering Caring For Women dinner, Dakota flashed her undies while putting on a cheeky display, but one fan only seeing a front view of the gown had complaints. The image, shared on an Instagram fan feed, came as part of a batch, with another fortunately showing Dakota's backside as she posed from a different angle.

Looking classy despite showing plenty of skin, the brunette went cheeky in her barely-there briefs, also teasing her cleavage via her dress' floral-embellished, sheer fabrics.

Dakota teamed her sparkly dress with black stiletto heels, rocking a necklace over her high, choker collar while wearing green-accented earrings. The 35-year-old was all smiles at the high-profile dinner, one she glammed up for with plenty of glowing makeup and her hair messily swept up and styled into bangs.

Fans rushed to comment as the repost went viral. Some criticized Dakota's fashion choice, with one user saying: "Stunning! But why she has to be naked for a foundation 'caring for women.'" Another complained that the actress hadn't offered a "back view," although another image on the same feed did just this.

This video of Dakota, meanwhile, highlighted her pert rear as she struck poses in her jaw-dropping, designer dress. The blue-eyed beauty has a penchant for Gucci, and she picked well. Kering founder, François-Henri Pinault, has ownership of the Italian label via his mega-brand, also owning the likes of Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen. "Splendid, always classy... You can't buy class!" one fan gushed while reacting to the video.

Dakota was, however, mass-slammed in reactions to her look on media outlets, with some users seemingly tired of her always going sheer.

Replies poured in as The Daily Mail covered Dakota Johnson's red carpet look.

"Another beautiful woman who now looks cheap and desperate," one user said, gaining over 200 likes. Another replied: "She has an amazing figure and I'm glad she finally figured out bangs are good for her... But can we please do away with the nearly nude trend?"
