Legendary actress Diane Keaton shared a heartwarming final photo with her dog a few months before her passing at the age of 79.
Details about her death have remained scanty, with her family asking for privacy as they mourn the loss.
However, as fans and stars alike pay their respects to Diane Keaton, a new report has surfaced revealing that her health rapidly "declined very suddenly" before her passing.
Diane Keaton's Health 'Declined Very Suddenly'

Keaton was reportedly struggling with a mystery health condition in the days leading up to her death.
According to People Magazine, a source said that her health "declined very suddenly" and that she had to place her "dream home" on the market.
"She declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her," a source told the news outlet. "It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit."
They added, "In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private. Even longtime friends weren't fully aware of what was happening."
The Actress Put Her 'Dream Home' On The Market Months Before Her Death

Back in March, she surprised many when she listed her beloved "dream home," even though she had said she wanted to stay there permanently.
Known for her love of interior design, she embarked on an ambitious renovation project after moving there in 2017; however, she listed it again in March for $29 million.
Keaton was reportedly rushed to the hospital in her last hours as the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) shared that they responded to a call at the actress's home at 8:08 a.m. local time.
"There are no further details available at this time, and her family has asked for privacy in this moment of great sadness," a spokesperson for her family told People.

Keaton's last post on Instagram is a photo of her and her dog sharing a cozy moment, months before she died.
The touching moment saw the "Godfather" actress smiling gleefully with her golden retriever, Reggie, in an April 11 post as they promoted a Hudson Grace dog statue and dog biscuits.
Keaton can be seen petting the furry companion, who also wore a bright smile as he longed for the biscuit while sitting on the floor.
"Proof our pets have great taste too! Happy National Pet Day from HG," the caption read.
The Actress Raised Eyebrows Due To Her Scanty 2025 Social Media Posts

It remains unknown what the exact cause of her death was, but what seems to shock fans is her reduced activity on social media.
Previously, Keaton was a prolific user of Instagram, often sharing updates with fans on the popular social media platform.
However, she has only uploaded two posts to her page this year: one promoting Hudson Grace and another soliciting donations for victims of the devastating wildfires that ravaged California in January.
Several fans took to her Instagram account to pay their last respects.
A fan likened her to "one of those people who leave but are so special that they become present and the sadness of death doesn't become something real."
Some celebrities also dropped their condolences, including Bette Midler, who said, "I cannot tell you how unbearably sad this makes me. She was hilarious and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was…oh, la, lala!"
