Things are not looking too good for "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star Wendy Osefo.
After news broke that the Bravo veteran and her husband, Eddie Osefo, had been arrested on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Maryland on felony fraud charges, the TV personality was dealt another major blow.
In just a few weeks, Bravo is set to air a new series, "Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition," which was supposed to feature Wendy Osefo and her husband; however, according to a new report, Bravo has now pulled their episode and is weighing its options moving forward.
Is Bravo Punishing Wendy Osefo By Pulling Her New 'Wife Swap' Episode From The Air?

NBC Universal first reported about the new spin-off, "Wife Swap," which was scheduled to debut with Wendy and Eddie's episode on October 14, 2025.
It's based on the hit global series and will follow a different Real Housewife and a "real wife" as they "navigate swapping their everyday comforts and luxuries to fully immerse themselves in a vastly different familial experience."
The description for Wendy's episode hinted that the former university professor and political commentator would swap lives with a "free-spirited" woman from Florida named Alethea, who's all about fun, no rules, and pet weasels.
"Will Dr. Wendy be able to find the balance between structure and fun? Can Alethea bring a little more spontaneity to the Osefo family?" the description added.
But it sounds like viewers won't be able to witness Wendy adjusting to life down South, as Bravo reportedly pulled her episode from the lineup, according to Variety.

As previously reported by The Blast, Wendy and her husband, Eddie, were arrested and booked in Westminster, Maryland, in the late hours of October 9.
Wendy is reportedly facing 16 charges—seven counts of insurance fraud, eight counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and one count of giving a false statement to police.
Eddie, on the other hand, is facing 18 charges: nine counts of insurance fraud, eight counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and one count of providing a false statement to police.
Were Wendy And Eddie Osefo Victims Of A Burglary?

Their arrest stems from an incident that occurred in April 2024, when they filed a report with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, claiming their home had been broken into and burglarized while they were away for vacation in Jamaica.
Wendy and Eddie told the officers that several high-ticket items were missing, including designer handbags, shoes, wallets, and jewelry.
However, law enforcement stated that during their investigation, they noticed Wendy wearing one of the pieces of jewelry on her social media that she allegedly claimed was stolen.
Officers also said they found that the pieces the couple claimed were taken from their home had been returned to stores "where a full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary."
According to the police reports, officers were suspicious about the alleged burglary, noting that nothing in Wendy and Eddie's house seemed out of place.
Officers also stated that the reality stars' ADT home security system was activated during their trip to Jamaica; however, there was "no motion detected inside the residence" during their vacation.
Police Claim Wendy And Eddie Signed False Documents

According to Us Weekly, Eddie reportedly gave two statements as part of an insurance investigation, during which he denied that any of the allegedly stolen items had been returned to different stores.
"He was asked if he had other insurance but failed to disclose to Homesite and Jewelers that he was also making a claim with Travelers Insurance," the police report said.
Wendy and Eddie reportedly signed statements claiming $2,500 for building damage and $450,000 in property loss.
On April 8, Eddie reportedly filed a claim with Travelers Insurance, stating that he and Wendy were wearing their anniversary bands when they were burglarized.
Two days later, Eddie called the company again to update his claim, asserting that his wife's gold diamond anniversary band was, in fact, missing.
Travelers settled the claim on April 10 for $25,380, which included the $4,500 for a replacement band.
On April 11, Wendy and Eddie reportedly submitted statements to Jewelers Mutual Insurance, claiming close to 60 items were taken from their home during the reported burglary. Among the items was Wendy's gold diamond anniversary band, which they reported stolen to Travelers.
The police documents note that Eddie didn't mention his previous claim or $25,000 check from Travelers during his conversations with Jewelers when police interviewed him on April 22, 2024.
Could Previous Emails Come Back To Harm Wendy And Eddie?

And the drama doesn't end there. During the investigation, law enforcement recovered an email that Eddie allegedly sent to Wendy a few days after the alleged burglary with an exhaustive list of items that were reportedly missing from their Maryland home.
In the body of the email, Eddie allegedly asked his wife if there were other "high-value items we can add to this inventory listing (i.e., Chanel shoes, etc.)?"
"I'm trying to get the total to exceed $423,000, which is our policy maximum," the email continued.
When Wendy and Eddie were arrested, police executed a "search and seizure raid" on their home, recovering at least "15 items that were allegedly stolen during the burglary."
Officers also revealed that their investigation showed "the Osefos to be burdened by substantial debt."
In a statement to Variety, a representative for the Osefos expressed gratitude for the concern and support for their well-being.
"Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits. They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead," the statement read.
