McKinley Richardson Tearfully Recalls Being Sexually Assaulted While Sleeping Next To Jack Doherty

In a powerful and emotional new interview on Camilla Araujo’s podcast, social media star McKinley Richardson opened up about the dark and complicated beginnings of her time with YouTuber Jack Doherty, including a deeply personal story of sexual assault she endured early on in their friendship. The model and influencer, who has since become one of the most recognizable faces in the creator world, recounted how what began as an exciting introduction into Doherty’s fast-paced lifestyle quickly took a traumatic turn.

McKinley revealed that when she first met Jack’s group, things felt “confusing” and “uncomfortable,” leading her to distance herself until others returned to the house. The group was preparing for a night out at Rock Bar, a popular hotspot, and though she admits she was nervous about drinking, she joined in to fit in.

“For the first time in my life, I had drank heavily,” she recalled while on the podcast. “It was kind of the icebreaker with Jack and I because we didn’t really have conversations before that.”

Their relationship grew quickly in that environment, filled with yacht parties, late-night clubs, and alcohol-fueled confessions. Richardson said Doherty would often express affection toward her when drinking, calling her “the most beautiful girl” and telling her, “I know you’re my wife because my wife would never do OnlyFans.”

But within the first week of knowing Doherty, McKinley says something “horrible” happened that would forever change her sense of safety.

According to her account, one of Jack’s longtime hometown friends, who was staying at the house, allegedly sexually assaulted her while she was sleeping next to Doherty. “I just remember waking up and his hand was in my pants,” she said through tears. “I felt so violated and scared. I had never been through a situation like that ever.”

McKinley described frantically trying to wake Doherty, who was intoxicated, while the man continued to assault her. When Jack finally woke up, she said he told the friend to leave. “He was like, ‘Bro, get out of here,’” she recalled. “And [the guy] said, ‘I don’t give a f-ck, I’m f-cking her right now.’”

The assailant eventually left the room, leaving McKinley shaken and unable to sleep for the rest of the night.

Richardson explained that she didn’t immediately tell anyone about what happened because she was “ashamed” and “in shock.” “When you’re in that situation, you don’t know how you’ll act,” she said. “I was terrified to tell anyone.”

It wasn’t until the next day that she pulled Jack aside to talk. “I said, ‘Do you remember what happened last night?’ And he was like, ‘What are you talking about?’” she recalled. “I explained it in detail, and he was like, ‘Holy sh-t, I remember.’”

McKinley says Jack became emotional, hugged her, and immediately cut ties with the alleged perpetrator. “From that day forward, I had never seen him again,” she said, adding that the man later texted an apology, claiming he had been on drugs that night.

Despite the trauma, McKinley said Jack’s reaction in the aftermath initially made her feel safe. “He told me, ‘I’m going to protect you. This will never happen again. You’re safe with me,’” she shared. However, that feeling of comfort didn't last long.

As many fans know, the fallout between McKinley Richardson and Jack Doherty was anything but smooth. “He was amazing, and I want people to know that he was so different in the beginning,” McKinley shared on the podcast, later adding, “But it was a lot different behind closed doors.”

According to McKinley, what began as a promising connection eventually spiraled into a toxic dynamic marked by emotional abuse and manipulation, ultimately leading to their breakup.

Jack Doherty confirmed the split earlier this year, acknowledging that their relationship became increasingly strained under the weight of public scrutiny and the constant challenge of balancing their personal and professional lives. He admitted that adjusting to no contact after spending nearly two years together every day has been difficult but maintained that he prefers to keep the deeper reasons for their breakup private.
