Gene Simmons has put his recent car accident behind him and is looking ahead!

The Israeli-American musician is sharing positive news amid reports of his involvement in an auto crash incident in Malibu earlier this week.

Gene Simmons was in the news back in August when the chairman of the Kennedy Center, President Donald Trump, announced the organization's plans to honor the singer's band, KISS.

The singer has now spoken up since the incident, which saw him crash his vehicle into a parked car on the Pacific Coast Highway on Tuesday. Simmons reportedly informed deputies that he had fainted behind the wheel of his Lincoln Navigator before the collision even happened.

Since the incident, Simmons has received treatment and is currently doing fine at home with his loved ones. His wife, Shannon Tweed, also confirmed to NBC Los Angeles that the rockstar is doing fine despite his SUV skipping several lanes of traffic in the crash.

On how law enforcement and emergency services arrived at the scene, sources noted that an eyewitness made the crucial call.

The Malibu car crash is not the first time Simmons has raised concerns about his health. In 2023, PEOPLE reported that the singer paused his concert to address a significant health issue.

Apparently, Simmons had become dehydrated from all the dancing and singing on stage, and it became necessary to address the issue. His bandmate, Paul Stanley, also fueled the rumors when he told the crowd that Simmons was unwell and needed medical attention. In Stanley's words to the crowd:

"We know how much you love Gene, and he's obviously sick. We're gonna have to stop to take care of him, because we love him, right?"

The singer eventually took to X to clear the air, stating that his weakness was caused by dehydration, and once he drank enough water, he was back in shape. "We got back on stage in 5 minutes & finished the show," he added in another follow-up tweet.

The 47th president of the United States announced that the band would be joining other Hollywood personalities, including Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, Gloria Gaynor, and Michael Crawford, to receive the highly coveted Kennedy Center Honors.

As reported by The Blast, Trump personally announced the honorees for the event, which will take place on December 7, 2025. The president also stated that he would host this year's edition, after skipping the event during his first tenure, following the honorees' refusal to attend as a form of protest.

Reacting to the news of the announcement, Simmons described it as a full-circle moment, which recognized KISS as "the embodiment of the American dream." He emphasized how delightful it is to receive the Kennedy Center Honor.

Simmons was joined by Stanley and Ace Frehley, who also performed with the band, in expressing how much the award meant to the band's enduring legacy. According to Stanley:

"From our earliest days, KISS has embodied the American ideal that all things are possible and that hard work pays off."

Stanley informed the board of the center that he accepts the award on behalf of the long legacy of KISS and every band member who brought the iconic vision of KISS to life.

Frehley noted that the honor was a dream come true and a testament to how his humble beginnings in the Bronx could not limit his ambitions. Most of all, Frehley described the experience as very humbling.

In its teaser about the award show, the Kennedy Center described the class of 2025 as excellent examples of American prowess in the arts.

Gene Simmons' Stint As A Guest Judge On 'Dancing With The Stars' Earned Poor Feedback

Last year, The Blast reported that the star appeared on the dancing show as a guest judge, where his remarks about the contestants' looks landed him in trouble for allegedly lacking professionalism.

The rockstar had given a piece of his mind on Danny Amendola and Witney Carson's dance to Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer."

The star seemingly had more to say about their looks than their steps, thus sending an uneasy signal within and without. "It's difficult to look at both of you and to figure out which one is more hot hot hot," Simmons had declared at the time.

Internet users immediately slammed the veteran performer for his lack of professionalism and scolded DWTS for bringing such an ill-informed judge. They complained that the singer enjoyed objectifying women even though the situation never warranted it.

Get well soon, Gene Simmons!
