Keith Urban's Guitarist Previously Vowed To Keep Workplace Romance Out Of The Deal

The lens panned out to a poignant statement from the instrumentalist from eight years ago, where she promised never to engage in anything romantic with a bandmate, no matter the situation.

The 2017 video featured Baugh giving a verdict that going out romantically with other band members was not a good idea. Her reason for this is that such a relationship is against the ethics of professionalism, as it may negatively impact everyone on the tour and the band's progress if the romance goes sour.

Well, since the rumors of a relationship between Urban and the guitarist started brewing, Baugh has suddenly become very scarce, even as serious as missing his Pennsylvania concert.

However, TMZ reported that while it may have been designed that way to dispel any gossip, she is also not a permanent member of the band and was covering for Natalie Stovall.

The Blast stated that eagle-eyed spectators have uncovered several instances where Urban and his guitarist fueled rumors of something brewing between them.

During one of his previous shows, the singer performed one of his hit tracks, "The Fighter," which was initially dedicated to Kidman. He craftily altered the initial lyrics, which read:

"When they're tryna get to you, baby I'll be the fighter," and changed it to "When they're tryna get to you, Maggie I'll be your guitar player."

While the encounter on stage happened before their divorce, Baugh posted the clip on Saturday, captioning it: "Did he just say that?" This act by the country star sparked criticism towards Urban and his decision to make such a drastic change to the sentimental song.

The year started on a dramatic note for Urban as he decided to disband his band, which had been together for over two decades, by laying off its members. The Blast noted that insiders described the move as a midlife crisis, the same notion his estranged wife shared at the time.

He took the same route with his marriage when he went against Kidman's wish to stay together by renting a new home right outside their Nashville residence. Days after Kidman filed for divorce, the country singer was spotted performing at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

He was spotted exiting from the jet without his wedding band and even tweaked the lyrics of one of his hit songs, "You'll Think of Me."

Urban, however, followed up with an adorable slideshow of Kidman alongside their two daughters, sending a message that they remain committed to the well-being of their kids despite the separation.
