"Their music got me through a lot, so to now have them be part of my story is surreal. It brings the whole album full circle."

When reflecting on Gangsta Boo's legacy, she said, "I'm going to make sure she gets on Top 40. I don't know if Gangsta Boo's ever been on pop radio before, but I'm crossing her over into pop with our collaboration."

Beyond nostalgia, these features help anchor the project's multi-genre DNA, uniting classic Southern hip-hop grit with CARA's modern, melodic sensibility. "They represent that edge and authenticity I wanted the album to have," she said. "It's real, it's raw, and it's me."
