What started as a night of excitement quickly turned into an emotional and viral moment for both JoJo Siwa and one of her fans.
A young woman who attended the pop star’s Infinity Heart Tour stop in Glasgow, Scotland, says she was kicked out of the show after wearing a hoodie she didn’t realize was offensive.
The fan, known as Anjali on TikTok, has since come forward to explain her side of the story, insisting she never meant to hurt Siwa’s feelings or mock her in any way.
JoJo Siwa Fan Explains The ‘Offensive’ Hoodie Incident
The drama unfolded at Jojo Siwa’s October 1 concert when Anjali showed up wearing a hoodie that featured a meme of the singer photoshopped as an egg, an image that had circulated online for years to mock her hairline.
According to the fan, the hoodie wasn’t meant as an insult. In an October 4 TikTok post, Anjali said that she and her best friend had first planned to see the dancer as a “joke,” but over time, they had genuinely started to like her and were truly excited to attend the show because she seemed really cool.
Anjali explained that they thought the hoodie would make Siwa laugh and had no idea it would offend her.
She noted that they hadn’t considered the backstory or realized it would be a trigger for her, adding that they never would have done it otherwise and that there was no malicious intent behind their actions.
An Emotional Moment Turns Into Public Drama

Anjali explained that she didn’t have any official Jojo Siwa merch to wear, so she thought bringing the hoodie would be a fun way to join in the energy of the concert.
“I’ve been to other concerts and shows and they find stuff like that really funny,” she said in her post. “Like it’s a common thing for people to, like, bring a funny picture.”
However, what she expected to be lighthearted soon spiraled into panic. According to her, she was approached by venue staff and asked to leave.
Shocked and confused, Anjali recalled calling her mother while on the verge of a “panic attack,” saying she received no help from anyone nearby.
“I felt embarrassed and didn’t know what to do,” she shared.
Netizens React To Jojo Siwa’s Fan’s Explanation

Shortly after Anjali shared her own side of the story, thousands of divided TikTok users trooped to the comments section to air their thoughts.
On one hand, users slammed Anjali for being in the wrong and acting like the victim.
One fan particularly described Anjali’s actions as “mean girl behavior.” Another user stated that what the Siwa fan did was wrong adding, “she cries about her hairline and when she was a kid she laughed at those pics but they hurt her and it’s one of her insecurities.
On the other hand, some users called out Siwa, noting that she took things too far. They revealed that it was simply a joke, adding that kicking a fan out after they paid money was wrong.
“Gurl it wasn’t deep enough to kick yall out after you spent money on your ticket and traveled there,” one person wrote.
Another commented, “Yeah I don’t get it, it wasn’t that deep. I think she just wanted a ‘hater kicked out of the show’ viral moment.
Siwa Responds From The Stage
The viral clip capturing the incident was also shared on TikTok, and it showed Jojo Siwa addressing the moment directly during her show.
In the video, the “Karma” singer can be seen responding firmly to the situation.
“You’re not going to come to my concert and bring a hoodie making fun of me. No way! No way, man! Thank you for coming, I appreciate it! But we’ve only got room for infinity hearts in here, right? Not in my house, baby,” Siwa said, earning cheers from the crowd.
While some praised her for standing up for herself, others online questioned whether removing the fan was the right move.
Why JoJo Siwa’s Hairline Became A Sensitive Topic

The hoodie referenced an old internet joke that mocked JoJo’s hairline, something she has openly admitted made her insecure for years.
The 22-year-old star, who grew up in the spotlight after appearing on “Dance Moms,” has faced countless comments about her appearance.
She once revealed that her hairline was the “number one thing” trolls targeted on social media.
In a touching video shared in July, Siwa broke down in tears while recalling a moment with her boyfriend, Chris Hughes.
“I’m drying my hair right now, and he goes, ‘You have a really good hairline.’ That’s the number one thing I was bullied for as a child,” she said through tears.
Hughes could be heard offering her a tissue and reassuring her, saying, “I love you. You have a really good hairline, it’s got so much hair.”
