Another Bravo star has been sentenced to jail time after being arrested for driving under the influence in 2024.
A Bravo Veteran Has Been Sentenced To Jail Time After DUI Arrest

Kathryn Dennis, known for her role on "Southern Charm," was taken into custody on Friday, October 3, to begin serving a 30-day sentence for a 2024 DUI arrest.
According to Page Six, Dennis was involved in a dangerous three-vehicle crash in May 2024.
At the time of her arrest, one of the responding officers shared their belief that the reality star was "possibly impaired," and another officer noted she had "glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her."
Dennis Feuded With Police During Her Arrest
In the body camera footage of Dennis' arrest, the mother of two got into an explosive confrontation with an officer who placed her in handcuffs for operating a vehicle while impaired.
Dennis, clearly caught off guard, asked, "Wait, why? Am I in trouble?"
Following her initial statement, Dennis became increasingly frustrated with the officers, saying, "Y'all are ruining my life—and my kids' [lives]" before adding, "Thanks for nothing."
Dennis continued, verbally sparring with the officers, calling her arrest "bullsh-t" before calling them "messed up" for booking her into jail. "What if they have kids? Because it could really affect their children’s lives," she added.
"You’re treating me like an animal, it’s just crazy," she said. "Get out of my face," she continued. “Why are you so close to me?”
Dennis Has Been In Trouble With The Law Before

Dennis' 2024 arrest wasn't the first time she'd been in trouble with the law. According to PEOPLE, Dennis was accused of being involved in a hit-and-run accident in October 2023 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
Lance Corporal Nick Pye of the South Carolina Highway Patrol told the publication that Dennis's 2022 Ford SUV struck a school resource officer who was directing traffic in front of a local elementary school.
Dennis reportedly "did not stop at the scene of the collision," and the deputy was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office shared a post on social media, informing the public that they were "investigating this collision as a hit-and-run."
Bravo Star Accused Of Racism

In addition to her legal woes, Dennis dealt with another controversy in 2020 after she was accused of being a racist after she reportedly sent a monkey emoji to a Black radio host she was feuding with over President Donald Trump's policies.
The host, Tamika Gadsen, shared the message online, according to The Blast, writing, "This is what happens when a Black woman in #Charleston speaks up against white supremacy."
The "Southern Charm" alum came under immediate fire following the release of her messages and subsequently lost brand partnerships. Gwynn's of Mount Pleasant, a luxury retailer, promptly dropped her from its roster of influencer collaborations.
They also issued a statement, saying, “As a minority-owned business, Gwynn’s and our employees are dedicated to serving all members of our community. Indisputably Kathryn Dennis’ comments and statements to Tamika Gadsen do not reflect the values of the Gwynn’s brand. Her previous affiliation as a brand ambassador was periodic and on a contract basis. We stand in unity with people of color and with causes that fight to end injustices.”
Dennis did receive some support, however, from her ex, Thomas Ravenel, who declared on X that Dennis "is not a racist."
He continued, "Some of her good friends are people of color, and I’ve never, ever heard a racial slur come out of her mouth. She doesn’t even think about race or even consider it. This is a very unfortunate mistake."
Other Bravo Stars Sentenced To Time Behind Bars For DUI

Dennis isn't the first Bravo star to be sentenced to time behind bars. As previously reported by The Blast, "Real Housewives of Potomac" star Karen Huger was recently released from the Montgomery County Detention Center following her sentence for driving under the influence.
She made headlines in December 2024 after crashing her luxury vehicle into a tree in Maryland. Huger was later arrested for driving under the influence and told officers in body camera footage that she was "lit."
Before her sentencing, Huger skipped the "RHOP" season 9 reunion to enter a rehab facility, and according to a Bravo spokesperson, "was fully supported in this choice."
