New video footage shows Tyrese Gibson's dogs roaming freely in a neighborhood front yard just hours after the "Fast & Furious" star was arrested and booked on animal cruelty charges in Atlanta. Gibson has been in the headlines for days after his neighbor claimed the actor's large Cane Corso dogs mauled and killed his 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Henry. In a previous statement, Gibson acknowledged the "tragic incident" and attempted to explain that his dogs were raised as lovers, not fighters; however, the new footage appears to contradict his claims of taking the situation seriously. The singer-turned-actor also revealed he made the difficult decision to rehome two of his dogs, who Gibson had reportedly been warned about roaming through the neighborhood before.

According to a report from TMZ, Gibson was arrested and booked into the Fulton County Sheriff's office on Friday, October 3, and charged with animal cruelty following the death of his neighbor's dog, Henry. The "Nobody Else" singer was booked at around 6 AM EST before later posting a $20,000 bond and being released.

The Blast previously explained that Gibson, known for his work in the "Fast" franchise as well as other iconic films, including "Transformers," was wanted in Atlanta after his neighbor called the police, claiming his Cane Corso dogs murdered their Cavalier King Charles.

The neighbor told law enforcement that he left his 5-year-old dog out to use the bathroom briefly, and when they returned, they found Henry lying dead with what appeared to be puncture wounds from another animal.

Doorbell security footage from one of Gibson's neighbors showed his dogs clawing and scratching at their front door in the middle of the night, seemingly indicating a repeated pattern. Local authorities had also received numerous calls and complaints about Gibson's dogs being left alone in the neighborhood, roaming freely, and inducing fear in other residents.

"After nearly 40 years of being a passionate dog lover—raising everything from Pomeranians, Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Maltese, to larger breeds like Shar Peis—my dogs have only ever been treated as family. They’ve never been trained to harm, never spent a single day in attack or protection training, and they’ve grown up playing with kids and smaller dogs in my home," he said.

Tyrese Gibson's Neighbor Calls Him Out With Scathing Statement

In a statement to TMZ, Gibson's neighbor, Harrison Parker, recalled the terrifying night when he lost Henry, calling it a "horrible" event he'd "never forget." He also slammed Gibson for his seeming lack of concern for his own animals, describing their behavior as an "ongoing" issue.

"He actively knows they're free, he actively knows they're dangerous, and he did nothing about it for a long time," Parker explained, claiming Gibson's dogs have been roaming their Atlanta neighborhood without supervision for years.

Regarding Gibson's statement, in which he extended his "deepest condolences" to Parker's family, the latter called that a lie, telling the publication he hadn't heard from Gibson in any capacity.
