Things are looking up for Teddi Mellencamp healthwise!
The former reality star shared positive information about her ongoing battle with cancer, revealing that she may be out of the woods in no time, thanks to the treatments.
Teddi Mellencamp first received her cancer diagnosis in 2022, with more shocking news last year that it had gotten progressively worse since then and spread to her brain and lungs.
Teddi Mellencamp Is Not In Remission Yet Despite Encouraging Update

The podcast host gleefully informed her fans on Friday that the doctors discovered zero tumors during her latest immunotherapy. Despite this positive update, the star shared that she would continue with the treatment for the next year.
While she is not in remission yet, Mellencamp was still dumbfounded at her progress thus far, where she literally saw herself come back from the brink of death. Last February, the TV personality revealed that she had stage IV melanoma and metastasized to her lungs and brain.
"I'm still going to be having days where I'm feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy. So, I'm still fighting," she explained, adding that it would take about three years of treatment for her "to be considered in remission."
Mellencamp rounded up that segment on her "Two Ts in a Pod" podcast, explaining that the doctors informed her that all the tumors continued to shrink.

The immense benefits of immunotherapy did not come without its side effects for Mellencamp, as she confessed that the treatment left her feeling weak and mentally exhausted.
According to the Bravo star, her strength was at a high when she began the process, which included multiple surgeries, radiation, and immunotherapy.
"Why do I feel like I can barely open my eyes or keep my words straight?" The Blast shared that the Bravo personality initially complained. She admitted that the blues were a first for her, which is a heartbreaking situation.
After noticing these signs, Mellencamp and her doctors decided to give her body a break to help her feel stronger and better. In her words: "And I'm on steroids and we're doing everything that we can to get me back to feeling like I can do this, I can do all the things."

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum hopped on "The Jamie Kern Lima Show" to discuss her alleged affair and how karma may have found a home in her immune system.
As noted by The Blast, the star got candid about her life, the disease, and her divorce, admitting that she did hurt people, but has refused to discuss the issue because of the children.
"To this day, does it still hurt my heart, and I wonder if that's why it got cancer? Yes, like it was my payback," Mellencamp stressed. The former reality became super remorseful, stating that no actions are without dire consequences.
Again, Mellencamp skillfully avoided confessing that she stepped out on Edwin Arroyave during their marriage. Mellencamp's divorce from Arroyave was clouded with allegations of infidelity in 2024, earning her knocks from fans and online spectators.

The Bravo alum continued that while her actions left an indelible mark on the hearts of those affected, much of it stemmed from very poor judgment on her part.
She noted that these ill decisions were taken at her lowest moments due to her health becoming compromised. The crushing headaches did little to salvage the situation, as Mellencamp added that she found herself losing grip on significant aspects of her life.
The 44-year-old continued that multiple things were happening simultaneously, leading her to desperately need a break and ultimately to self-destruct. Despite her role in the breakdown of their marriage, Mellencamp praised her estranged husband for holding his end of the bargain and supporting her.
"I just want him to be happy, and I want our kids to be happy, and I want us to be able to have a good friendship and relationship," the TV star concluded.
Teddi Mellencamp Sought Support Of A Community Amid Her Cancer Battle

The television star had carried her fans along throughout her illness and treatments, and back in August, she asked a pressing question about the sudden wave of anxiety she felt. Mellencamp inquired if that feeling was another side effect of immunotherapy she was unaware of.
She asked her fans who may be in a similar situation or have gone through immunotherapy what they have done or taken to help them recover. Mellencamp had previously sent an SOS message on her Instagram Story, stressing the need for a cancer support group.
The former reality star placed a request that those who have had their cancer metastasize to their brains or lungs text her to build a community of support and shared minds.
