Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly ended their almost twenty-year marriage. This report comes shortly after it was revealed that the couple has been living separately.
The actress had been paying $88k monthly for a luxury mansion in London, with locals questioning her "living arrangements."
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban first raised eyebrows over the state of their marriage when the actress filed papers for permanent residence in Portugal without the singer.
Keith Urban Breaks Up With Nicole Kidman

According to TMZ, Urban has decided to end his marriage to the movie star, Nicole Kidman. Sources shared with the news outlet that the pair has been living apart since "the beginning of summer."
The actress is also said to be the one taking care of their children, with an insider noting that she is "holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone."
The reason for their separation is said to be one-sided, with Kidman reportedly fighting to save the marriage before Urban chose to end it.
"Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home," a source told the news outlet.
The former couple has yet to officially file for a divorce. Kidman and Urban got married in 2006, and their kids are 17 and 14 years old.
The Actress Has Been Paying $88,000 Per Month For A Luxury London Home Without Her Husband

Before the shocking news of their split, Kidman had already been observed to have been living separately from Urban for several months.
Reports at the time theorized that their living arrangements were due to their busy schedule, with the actress said to have been in London to film the sequel to "Practical Magic."
However, as reported by The Blast, Kidman's neighbors were seemingly suspicious of the pair's marriage, especially since she stayed back in London and continued to pay $88,000 monthly for her luxurious home, which was previously owned by Boy George, even after filming had ended.
Sources at the time told Woman's Day that the actress had gotten "comfortable" with the "dream home" while living far from her husband.
Nicole Kidman's 'Living Arrangement Raised Eyebrows' Among Locals

The source, who spoke to Woman's Day, hinted at the growing suspicion surrounding Kidman and Urban's marriage due to the length of time they had been apart.
"They do make an effort to speak every day when they're apart, but it's shocking how much time they've spent apart since Nicole's mother died last September," an insider told the news outlet at the time.
They further noted that Kidman's "living arrangement was raising eyebrows among the community."
"It's like they both went their separate ways. Now she's getting comfortable in a dream home in London on the other side of the world," the source said.
The Actress Filed For A Permanent Portuguese Residency Without Keith Urban

Another major hint about the state of Kidman's marriage to Urban emerged in July of this year, when she filed papers for permanent residency in Portugal and omitted the singer's name.
The local news outlet, SIC NotĂcias, revealed at the time that the Oscar winner had submitted her paperwork to the country's Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA).
Kidman was reportedly searching for a luxurious property in the 722-acre CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a wealthy enclave. The lush development is reportedly situated approximately 81 miles south of Lisbon.
Besides Kidman, other top Hollywood stars have set their sights on the affluent area, including notable names such as Paris Hilton and George Clooney. Montecito-based royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, also allegedly splurged on a property in the area in 2024.
The Omission Of Keith Urban's Name From The Residency Documents Raised Suspicions

At the time Kidman filed for permanent residency in Portugal without Urban's name, rumors had already begun circulating that the couple might be going through a difficult patch in their relationship.
However, a source attempted to quell the speculations, claiming the singer's busy schedule while on tour made it difficult for him to work on the necessary documents.
"Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the U.S. and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa," a source told the New York Post in July.
They added, "He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule. While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville."
