The season 4 premiere of Fox's "Special Forces" sees ex-military operatives testing the physical, mental, and emotional strength of various celebrities.
The contest is no walk in the park, as the challenges often end in tears and fierce arguments.
In the episode, Cartwright explained to the cameras why she flew to Morocco to be part of the fourth season, which featured other Bravolebs, such as the mother-daughter duo Teresa and Gia Giudice.
"I wanted to do Special Forces selection because I have been through so much this year, I finally found the strength to leave a very toxic relationship," Cartwright said.
However, her desire to compete wasn't met with positivity from everyone. Cartwright revealed that she received negative text messages from Taylor, who insisted she wouldn't make it far in the competition.

"I had my ex writing me being like, 'You're not gonna make it far,' right before I even came here, so people like that I want to prove wrong," she said.
But her plan to prove him wrong hit an immediate snag during the first episode, as viewers watched the mother of one struggle with the show's intense demands.
In the first activity, which saw the cast repel from a helicopter, Cartwright admitted that heights were her "biggest fear." She attempted to contain her tears; however, her nerves were too much for her to handle at the moment, saying, "I am terrified of height. I mean, I'll walk on a balcony in a hotel with my back up against the wall, so that I don't have to get close to the edge."
Despite that, Cartwright explained, "But no matter what, I'm really dedicated to trying every single thing that comes my way."
Brittany Cartwright Continued To Struggle In The First Episode Of 'Special Forces'

Cartwright's struggles continued throughout the episode, with cameras showcasing her difficulty towing pounds of supplies uphill.
"I can't… I don't think I can make it," the reality star told the Directing Staff (DS).
Shortly after, Cartwright got extremely vulnerable and candid in her confessional interview, telling producers that she's "not the fittest;" however, "chasing around my four-year-old has been very helpful."
Still, the expectations of the show proved too much for Cartwright to handle, as she told the DS, "I feel like I'm going to pass out, I'm sorry," before officially quitting the series. "I can't. I'm gonna throw up. I'm really sorry. I feel like sh-t," she added.
"I knew I was gonna be first. F-cking knew it. So embarrassing," she went on.
Cartwright And Taylor Are Divorcing

Cartwright's emotional appearance on "Special Forces" comes as no surprise to fans who have watched her share private details about her relationship with Taylor on "The Valley."
Adding to their struggles, Cartwright also revealed that while Taylor was previously away for 30 days in rehab, he continued to "rage text" her, leaving her with no choice other than to block his number.
"One day he would be love-bombing me [and] the next day, telling me that I'm gonna look so terrible for going on a date while he's in a facility. And I'm like, dude, I caught you naked in the bed the day you went to f–king rehab," she said, per The Daily Dish.
Taylor addressed his messages during "The Valley After Show," admitting to being addicted to his cell phone while also realizing the dangers it could present.
"I have to have control. And I don't know what that is. It's a huge issue. Ego, control, narcissism, manipulation… It's all the same thing," he said.
Who Else Is On 'Special Forces' Season 4?

In addition to Cartwright and the Giudices, other notable personalities flew to Morocco to participate in season 4 of "Special Forces," including Kody Brown ("Sister Wives"), Jessie James and Eric Decker, Eva Marcille ("The Real Housewives of Atlanta"), and athletes Nick Young, Johnny Manziel, and Shawn Johnson.
