Whoa, did Jennifer Aniston just drop ANOTHER “Friends” bombshell?
Did Ross & Rachel do the deed in real life???
This is the question on everyone’s minds after the on-screen couple revealed there were butterflies between the two during the early years of “Friends.”
Although they were never “romantically involved” both David Schwimmer and Aniston confessed that they had a major crush on each other. However, the two never officially dated because they were never both free at the same time!
During the reunion special, Schwimmer said, “I mean, the first season, I had a major crush on Jen. At some point, we were crushing hard on each other.”
They’re ‘Just Friends’
Their co-star, Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani, called bulls*** right to their faces.
This led to the cast revealing that Aniston and Schwimmer would cuddle up on the couch together and take naps in between takes!
Had they been romantically involved Aniston would have ZERO issue shouting it from the rooftops.
During an interview with Howard Stern on June 22 the actress admitted, “I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened, but no.”
Aniston went on to explain they did have lust for one another, but nothing physical ever escalated between them.
“We were in relationships, and it was always never the right time. It wouldn’t have worked,” the “Friends” alum said.
I’ll be there for you!
Despite not being able to express their interest in one another in the real world, Aniston explained that they were able to channel their feelings into their characters on-screen.
This played out wonderfully, because their characters, Ross Gellar and Rachel Green, were romantically involved throughout the entirety of 10 seasons.
“The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel. I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did,” Aniston revealed.
Stern must have not believed her, because she felt the need to back up her claims.
“We never on my life slept together. And Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow would know if we did because they would’ve heard about it. They can vouch for me,” she said.
Gangs all here!
Aniston is currently single and not linked to anyone romantically, and Schwimmer is seemingly flying solo as well.
So, could this years-long lust for one another blossom into something more?
Maybe. Maybe not.
One thing is for certain though, you will NOT see Aniston popping up on any dating apps.
Aniston revealed in a new interview with People Magazine that she will not look for love online. She wants to find a partner the old-fashioned way.
“Absolutely no. I’m going to just stick to the normal ways of dating. Having someone ask you out. That’s the way I would prefer it,” the ‘Morning Show’ actress said.
When asked if marriage is on her radar she revealed, “Oh God, I don’t know. It’s not on my radar. I’m interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another. That’s all we should hope for. It doesn’t have to be etched in stone in legal documents.”
Aniston was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.
