Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke Hogan, may be living out of a Miami hotel room, but she is doing it for the love of music.

Alongside her husband, hockey player Steven Olesky, Brooke is embracing the hotel life while she works on new music in Florida. Her choice to live outside the spotlight of her dad's estate comes as she continues to open up about the long-standing rift with her father.

The tension reportedly began years earlier when Brooke Hogan's relationship with Hulk Hogan soured over his involvement with Sky Daily. This rift ultimately shaped her decision to forfeit any claim to her father's estate.

Brooke is diving back into her first love, music, and this time, she is doing it on her own terms. To fully commit to her music, Brooke and her beau relocated to Miami, but instead of settling into a house, they opted for hotel living.

Steven explained that the arrangement allows Brooke to stay focused in the studio, where she has been recording long into the night and pushing through sessions that often stretch past midnight.

He added that the setup is not unusual for them, stating, "With my 14 years of professional hockey and her travel, this is nothing new for us."

According to Us Weekly, Steven shared that Brooke is energized about creating new music that blends different styles. He noted that she is thrilled to be returning to her passion after spending time away "because of things out of her control."

Brooke's return to music follows the legendary wrestler's passing, a loss that prompted her to look back on their rocky relationship. Last month, she revealed that her father's romance with Sky Daily created a major divide in their family, ultimately leading to years of distance between them.

The Blast highlighted how Brooke said Hulk once confided in her about his doubts over marrying Sky, who was "pushing the marriage thing hard." Though he admitted to feeling uneasy, he quickly shut down further discussion.

And that was not the first time. The outlet pointed out that she had previously recalled a strange phone call that left her unsettled, explaining that Hulk cut the conversation short without offering clarity. She admitted the exchange gave her "heebie jeebies" and ultimately marked the last time she spoke with him.

Brooke did not just keep her distance from her late father; she stepped away from his legacy entirely. The 37-year-old revealed that she intentionally asked to be removed from Hulk's will, giving up any claim to his multi-million dollar estate.

The Blast noted that Brooke has no interest in being tied to her father's fortune. She explained that she has already faced financial hardships and learned to stand on her own, which makes her proud of the life she has built without relying on his success. 

Brooke said the move was not a shock, since it was her request all along. "It's what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets," she shared, adding that her father always knew she was determined to make it on her own.

Although she voiced concern about how his intellectual property and trademarks would be handled, she admitted that a deeper issue drove her decision, she did not trust the people surrounding him. Brooke made it clear she wanted no involvement in the disputes that could follow control of his fortune.

Her choice was not sudden. Back in 2023, the same year she and Hulk last spoke, Brooke formally asked his financial manager to take her name out of the will.

She had tried to mend their fractured relationship but eventually decided stepping away was the healthiest option. Reflecting on the decision, Brooke said the distance was her way of protecting herself emotionally.

Meanwhile, despite her decision to walk away, Brooke is not convinced the story of her father's passing has been fully told. She has suggested there are hidden details surrounding the July 24 death of Hulk, who was said to have suffered a heart attack at age 71.

The Blast highlighted Brooke's statements, where she claimed medical professionals and even law enforcement sources had contacted her with alarming information. 

A Clearwater police document from the day Hulk died reportedly noted the presence of an occupational therapist, who told officers the late star's phrenic nerve had been damaged during a surgery, a mistake they described as malpractice.

Brooke said she has received direct calls urging her to push for body cam footage and 911 tapes but admitted she has no authority to access them. With those rights left to Hulk's wife, Brooke expressed frustration at her powerlessness and asked fans to stop pressing her for answers.
