Cardi B Drops Verdict On Soon-To-Be Baby Daddy's Paternity Dispute

Cardi B is going to stick beside her man, and no amount of drama will change that, at least that is what she is saying.

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker has finally broken her silence on the circulating reports of her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, neck deep in paternity drama with an Instagram model with a 5-month-old.

Cardi B is currently expecting her fourth child with the NFL footballer after they confirmed their relationship while attending a Knicks game in Madison Square Garden this year.

The songwriter hopped on her Instagram Live in a very hilarious response to the ongoing tussle between the IG influencer, Lord Giselle, and Diggs.

Cardi basically implied that she would not leave her significant other because of this controversy, quoting Brown's line on her "Woman to Woman" track, "Hello Barbara, This is Shirley."

In the piece, Brown was reaching out to another woman with whom her partner was having an affair, a scenario that is arguably similar to Cardi's.

"That's your baby daddy, b-tch? That's my baby daddy, too," the star declared on Instagram live, adding: "What now? I don't f-cking know. We'll figure it out, b-tch."

Page Six reported that Giselle's lawyer also reacted to the story that Diggs was spotted holding a baby carrier. The lawyer, Tamar Arminak, noted that she can confirm her client was not the one in the video, and no car seat was provided to her.

Arminak stressed that they were expecting the day Diggs would finally meet the child in question and take responsibility by providing for the baby.

Diggs has not stayed silent on the issues; shortly after the baby's arrival, he filed a petition to register his doubts over his parental connection to the baby. As noted by The Blast, Giselle already filed a motion to determine parental relationship while she was pregnant with her daughter in December.

The NFL wide receiver urged the court to mandate genetic testing, which would require both parties to participate in the process. However, nothing is known as to whether the duo took the step, but Giselle's camp is not folding their hands in their continued agitation for Diggs to step up.

Apart from his unborn baby with Cardi, Diggs is currently father to an eight-year-old daughter named Nova, whom he allegedly welcomed with his ex in 2016.

The media personality had kept mum on the swirling reports of the pregnancy for months now, when her eagle-eyed fans took notice of her interesting wardrobe choices.

When she finally confirmed the story in her interview with Gayle King, the internet went agog with several fans chastising her for making such a career-damaging decision.

Some fans wondered why she would decide to expand her family after welcoming a child a little over a year ago with her estranged husband, and even worse, chose Diggs with an allegedly questionable history with women. 

Another set slammed her for settling for the "baby mama" title after she lost the "wife" description just months ago. Speculations of infidelity also came up as some fans theorized that she was seeing Diggs while she was married to Offset and pregnant with Blossom.

Following their interaction on "CBS Mornings," where Cardi gave more profound insights into her romance with Diggs and her recently released album, King had nothing but praise to describe the rapper.

The Blast shared that the veteran reporter conveyed her appreciation and admiration for Cardi's dedication to her craft and stressed that she deserved to be considered as one of the best in her field.

King commended her for her efforts to improve in all areas, including raising three kids while pregnant with a fourth, promoting her project, and preparing for a tour immediately after giving birth.

The TV personality added that she respects Cardi's choice to have a family with Diggs and encouraged her fans to show the same level of consideration.

Several commentaries have trailed the rapper's album release; some good, some not so good, including allegations of her employing ghostwriters to work on the album.

In a now-deleted clip, Cardi stood up to the critics and debunked every narrative, proving that her pen works by showing behind the scenes of her reciting lines for "Magnet."

"Whoever wrote it?" Nah that's CARDI.. this is my process... I'm a natural roaster, and you already know I'm quick with the mouth, so I'll be coming up with lines and I'll record myself then lay it later," she wrote in the caption.

In the song as released on her album, Cardi was heard taking shots at one-half of the "City Girls" group, JT. She described her as a fake friend who is easily impressed and settled for sharing bags with her boyfriend, rapper Lil Uzi Vert.

Cardi B's message is clear: I know my situation, and it is mine to deal with!
