Cardi B has confirmed she’s expecting a fourth child with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, and this news did not sit well with her fans, who came for her immediately.
The rapper, however, isn’t backing down. She has assured supporters that nothing is affecting her new album and the accompanying tour that are on the way.
Her pregnancy news came weeks after she beat a long-running assault lawsuit stemming from a 2018 incident.
Cardi B Assured Fans Nothing Will Affect Her New Album and Tour

In a recent tweet, Cardi seemingly addressed the backlash following her pregnancy announcement on "CBS Mornings."
Celebrating the release of her new album on Friday, the rapper thanked fans for their support before telling them that she is training hard to perform at full capacity when the tour begins.
“…By the time the tour comes, I’ll be doing splits, somersaults, backflips, and handstands. I want this really bad, but I’m on a very strict plan,” she wrote, explaining that she is committed to delivering the best possible album and live show.
Cardi's tweet echoes her revelations on "CBS Mornings," where she reiterated her plans to go on tour despite her pregnancy.
When host Gayle King asked when her baby would arrive, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper replied that the baby would come before her February tour, a response that surprised the interviewer.
“I’m very ready, even when I’m pregnant, I’m very ready,” Cardi said, noting she has already begun stretching and preparing her body for the tour.

Cardi eventually confirmed her pregnancy a day after she revealed that the “Little Miss Drama Tour” would happen.
She joyfully told King in the interview that her fourth child is on the way, revealing her boyfriend Diggs as the father. Diggs had also raised eyebrows months ago for being a flirty man.
Cardi, however, described herself as being in a good place emotionally and physically.
“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work.” She praised Diggs for being supportive and acknowledged that she feels loved by him.
Cardi B Received Backlash From Fans Over Pregnancy News

Despite Cardi’s joyful announcement, the reaction on social media was stern as fans criticized her for getting pregnant, as reported by The Blast.
She made a joke about using album sales to buy baby items, which immediately prompted them to question her choices.
One user openly showed displeasure, “I’ve never been so disappointed in someone I don’t know,” while another commented, “Having loads of baby daddies isn’t a flex.”
Her taste in men was even questioned, as a fan insinuated that it had not improved. “Having a baby with another dusty,” the harsh remark read.

It is no surprise that fans have mixed reactions about their idol's pregnancy. Cardi is set to release her first project in almost a decade, and some think a baby on the way might interfere.
The Bronx native first dropped the news of her sophomore album, “Am I The Drama?” in June, posting a video on her Instagram. As reported by The Blast, this comes seven years after her debut album “Invasion of Privacy.”
“Seven years, and the time has come. Seven years of love, light, and loss,” she said in her video, adding that she had given grace during the time away and is now ready to release new music.
Cardi then captioned the clip, “I’m beyond. I’m not your villain, I’m your karma. The time is here. The time is now.”
Cardi B Survived A $24 Million Lawsuit

Cardi's pregnancy saga comes after she recently emerged victorious in a $24 million lawsuit filed by Emani Ellis. Ellis filed this lawsuit in 2020 over an alleged 2018 altercation.
The lawsuit alleged that Cardi B spat on and physically assaulted Ellis, and the case had been tied up in court for years.
Cardi, however, eventually posted a victory dance on Instagram after the ruling. She also revealed that it was a tough season for her, saying she even missed her kids’ first day of school because she had to attend the court hearing.
She appeared done with more drama as she warned potential future litigants not to bring what she called frivolous suits against her,
“The next person to try to do a frivolous lawsuit against me, I’m going to counter sue and I’m going to make you pay, because this is not OK,” Cardi warned.
