Travis Kelce has shared details about the musical arrangements he and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, are planning for their wedding.
The couple got engaged late last month, with Kelce proposing to the singer in a picturesque garden setting that quickly went viral online. They have not yet announced a wedding date, but unlike their highly public engagement, the ceremony is expected to be a "private affair."
The revelation about the wedding details comes after Travis Kelce's sister-in-law, Kylie, revealed her reaction to the engagement.
Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift Prefer Live Music Over A DJ For Their Wedding
Travis Kelce has dropped hints about the type of music he and Taylor Swift are planning for their wedding.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared the detail during the September 17 episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, which featured TV personality Jimmy Fallon as a guest.
Fallon asked Kelce whether he and Swift had begun making wedding plans before pressing him on what kind of music they would prefer for the big day.
"Are you gonna do DJ or band? Are you thinking about all this stuff?" the TV personality had asked the footballer, per People Magazine.
In response, the NFL star dismissed the idea of hiring a DJ, saying, "Yeah, I think we're live music kind of people, you know?"
Travis Kelce Hints At Doing Some Karaoke On His Wedding Day
During the chat, Fallon also brought up Kelce's karaoke and performing skills, which the football star most recently showcased with his brother Jason at the American Century Championship in July.
When asked if he knew about Kelce's talent, Jason, now retired, replied that he had seen those moves while growing up.
"He's always had this in his bag," Jason added. "He's been a man of entertainment since the beginning. So this is not surprising."
Travis Kelce Says The Taylor Swift Engagement Was Deeply Emotional For Him
Back in August, Kelce got down on one knee and proposed to Swift with a dazzling ring later revealed to be a giant old mine brilliant-cut diamond from Artifex Fine Jewelry.
In the multiple pictures she shared, the couple could be seen packing on the PDA, including one where Kelce was down on his knees to pop the question.
Looking back on the engagement, Kelce previously told his friend Erin Andrews on the NFL on Fox that the moment was deeply emotional for him.
"I'm an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there. But it's been an exciting ride up to this day, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her," he said.
When the wedding day arrives, it is expected to be a private affair, unlike their picture-perfect public proposal.
"It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle," a source told People. "They both have a close circle of friends, and they'll respect their privacy."
The Chiefs Star's Sister-In-Law Shared Her Thoughts About The Engagement
Kelce's sister-in-law, Kylie, also shared her thoughts on his engagement in her own podcast "Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce."
"I am so incredibly happy for them. We are so excited that they are taking this next step," Kylie told her listeners on September 11, per People Magazine.
She also shared that her daughter Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 4, "are so excited to get another aunt.
The 33-year-old added, "I am so truly happy for them, and I feel so grateful that we get to welcome Taylor into our family in a more official capacity."
She had previously made similar comments during her appearance on "Good Morning America" earlier this month.
"The girls are thrilled," Kylie said at the time. "They're so excited they're getting another aunt. And we could not be more excited for them and what the future holds. We love love, and we love Taylor and Trav."
