Insiders have confirmed that attending New York Fashion Week is one of the strategies Williams has devised to regain her influence and re-enter the upper echelons of society.

"She wants to be back in society. She wants to go get bagels and lox, just the simple pleasures. She wants to go to fashion week!" the close source emphasized.

Another source noted that the former TV host has even improved her sewing skills at the assisted living facility where she is currently undergoing guardianship. Though the hobby came out of boredom, it has done a lot to help Williams stay at the facility less daunting.

Besides these, Williams is also very committed to getting out of her guardianship program and ultimately exposing the very abusive system that has trapped her for years now.

As last month wrapped up, Tacopina clarified the circulating rumors about the state of Williams' health, suggesting that reports of her medical evaluation pointed towards a slow rate in her recovery.

As reported by The Blast, a few insiders revealed that the former TV host was re-diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia. With this alleged redevelopment, the star is at risk of her guardianship being extended.

Tacopina insisted the results circulating were fake because no official had certified the release, no one, not even Williams, had seen the reports either. The attorney reminded the public that publicizing or discussing a person's medical record without consent violated HIPAA.

Tacopina declared that his client was fit, with strong cognitive capabilities, adding, "She is personally doing great. As a human being, she is as lucid as they come."

Before her recent outing at the New York Fashion Week, where several eyewitnesses testified that the star was doing reasonably well, some of her friends, such as Reverend Al Sharpton, had spoken positively about her recovery and improvement.

The Blast stated that back in February, Sharpton paid a visit to her assisted living facility, where he basically shared that her cognitive impairment by those close to her, may have been exaggerated.

He affirmed that she sounded very much like herself and, most importantly, wanted him to offer help and get her out of her guardianship programme.

The talk show host herself denied being cognitively incomplete when she caught up with a few news reporters during dinner in Tucci. She spun her popular "How you doin" line before quizzing the reporters if she looked or sounded like she had dementia in any form.

The media personality celebrated her 61st birthday in July, accompanied by her former producer for a meal at a high-end restaurant. She appeared very bubbly, even without the aid of her popular motorized scooter, and spent the night surrounded by her good pals.

Williams reportedly got a baked Alaska for her birthday cake courtesy of Max Tucci as she blew out her candles. Sources close to the talk show queen shared that Williams has plans to travel the world once her release falls through.

Her lawyers were also devotedly fighting to get her freed, and this has fueled her optimism and confidence in the legal system and her attorneys. She even got a birthday wish from designer Zang Toi, who coincidentally grabbed a meal at the same restaurant the same night.
