Eileen Davidson from Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is facing intense backlash from social media users after sharing a controversial post about right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed last week in Orem, Utah.
'Real Housewives' Star Under Fire After Seeming To Dismiss Charlie Kirk's Death
Just for the record people? I never ever in 1 million years would celebrate the assassination of anybody ever. Please don't twist things around.

Davidson, who starred in the Beverly Hills iteration of the popular franchise from 2014 to 2016, shared a post on her Instagram that read, "I am not in support of what happened to Charlie Kirk, but Charlie Kirk was in support of what happened to Charlie Kirk," according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The TV personality's post sparked a bit of outrage, prompting her to delete the image and offer clarification on her X account. "Just for the record, people? I never ever in 1 million years would celebrate the assassination of anybody ever. Please don't twist things around."
And although her follow-up post was an attempt to smooth things over, the 66-year-old was met with even more opposition, as users accused her of attempting to change her stance.
Social Media Users Defend Charlie Kirk
No, you didn’t celebrate it. You mocked it thinking you were making some profound political point. Extremely poor taste to say the least.

"No, you didn't celebrate it," one user wrote. "You mocked it, thinking you were making some profound political point. Extremely poor taste to say the least."
Another user also claimed Davidson was trying to make light of the situation, posting, "Mmm, actually you are. And the irony of saying the right puts out 'violent rhetoric' when it's your side calling us racist, nazis, fascists... oh, and murdering us... it's kind of a joke."
And the heat didn't stop there. A third user chimed in, writing, "Clearly you did, and you are still irrelevant. Charlie Kirk was the most gorgeous human, and because he spoke the truth, he was taken out."
Reactions Are Split After Davidson's Post About Charlie Kirk
People know your heart. We live in a climate today where words gets twisted hell even made up sometimes. Mostly to
paint a false portrait or taken way out of context to fit a villain narrative. People have forgotten that we are all human beings and not objects.— MobCandyJ (@jojoeylolo) September 15, 2025
However, the comments weren't all bad. Still, on X, some users rushed to Davidson's post to offer a different perspective, with one saying, "Only stupid people would [be offended by your post]. You're good."
Someone else echoed that sentiment, posting, "We know. You've only said what needed to be said."
Another netizen wrote about today's climate, explaining that words can easily get twisted to "paint a false portrait or taken way out of context to fit a villain narrative."
"People have forgotten that we are all human beings and not objects," they finished.
Other Bravo Stars Are Under Fire For Seemingly Making Light Of Kirk's Murder

And Davidson isn't the only Bravo alum sparking chaos over posts about Kirk. "Vanderpump Rules" alum Katie Maloney is in a similar boat after sharing a post to her Instagram Stories, saying that while "we" don't celebrate death, "we also do not mourn monsters."
"Those two things can and do coexist," the post continued. "The absence of mourning does not imply the presence of celebration."
A few days later, Maloney offered clarification on her social media accounts, explaining that she used the wrong language to try to make her point.
"I am sorry if anyone feels hurt by what I said. I acknowledge I could have been more intentional in the timing of my comments, while the loss was so immediate," she wrote. "Gun violence is an American tragedy. So is our inability to disagree with civility. Going forward, I hope to be part of the solution to both problems."
Maloney's former "VPR" co-star, Stassi Schroeder, also faced backlash on Instagram after sharing a picture of herself in an all black outfit and captioning it, "It's giving, 'I'm mourning my billionaire husband and about to inherit this townhouse.'"
"Girl. The caption," someone replied. "Edit that sh-t immediately, considering there is someone who is very publicly mourning her husband right now."
Kirk Lost His Life On A College Campus

According to a previous report from The Blast, Kirk was murdered on the campus of Utah Valley University while there for a speaking event for his organization, Turning Point USA, which supported conservative youths in America.
A campus spokesperson reported that Kirk was shot "20 minutes" into his presentation and was later rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was 31.
President Donald Trump shared an emotional tribute on his Truth Social account, calling the political commentator "great and even legendary" before sharing even more about Kirk's mission.
"No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie," Trump continued. "He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika and family. Charlie, we love you!"
