Fans Slam Jennifer Aniston's Beau Jim Curtis For 'Rude' Gesture While Supporting Her At NYC Premiere

Jennifer Aniston might think Jim Curtis is Mr.Perfect, but fans are spotting habits that paint a very different picture.

The pair have been romantically linked since July and have been spotted enjoying several outings, including a yacht trip off the coast of Mallorca. Now it appears that the romance between the couple is heating up as the “Friends” alum has subtly flaunted the wellness coach at every turn. 

 However, the “Marley & Me” star’s latest appearance with Curtis has left her followers scrutinizing his public conduct. 

On Tuesday, September 9, Aniston arrived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City for the premiere of “The Morning Show's” fourth season, with her hypnotist beau cheering her on from the sidelines.

The spotlight briefly shifted to the coach when he was spotted on the red carpet, without Aniston by his side. In a video shared on Instagram, the author wore an all-black casual ensemble, standing next to a woman. He was seen chewing noticeably and glancing around while muttering something to her.

Meanwhile, Aniston graced the red carpet alongside co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, and Mark Duplass.

The 56-year-old stunned in a long black strapless dress, with a ruched design at the waist, and let her blond curls fall around her face, per People Magazine.

Unexpectedly, Curtis's presence at the event sparked chatter online, with observers quickly zeroing in on details they felt showed a less-than-polished side of him. One onlooker wrote, “It's rude to chew in a place like this. He's nervous, or he just has bad breath. I don't like him.” 

Another person questioned, “Didn't anyone tell him to drop the gum? Or at least close his mouth when he chews?” A third individual pointedly called Curtis “Classless!” while another remarked that “He looks so shady!”

A fourth person chimed in, “Chewing gum is not sexy at all,” and a fifth commenter added, “So rude – chewing.”

Fans' disapproval of Curtis' behavior at the event is a sharp contrast to the warm reception they dished out just days earlier, when the “Murder Mystery” star subtly featured him on Instagram.

As The Blast reported, Aniston shared a carousel of 18 photos, which featured a snap of the back of Curtis’s head as he watched the sunset at the beach.

She captioned the update, “Thank You Summer,” adding red heart emojis, and her over 44 million followers raved about it, focusing on the man in the 17th slide. 

One admirer gushed, "What a lucky man! What an amazing summer you've had." A second person added, "Slide 17, happy for you."

Despite the buzz surrounding Curtis' behavior at the premiere, Aniston appears convinced he is the one and is ready to walk down the aisle. According to The Blast, sources close to the producer revealed that she's "all in," believing she has finally found her "forever guy."

The couple is already making plans to settle down and is considering an intimate wedding in Cabo, Mexico, with their closest friends in attendance. The pair envision a ceremony rooted in their shared spirituality, featuring rose quartz, special blessings, and even elements of hypnosis.

Curtis, on the other hand, is also taking actions to marry the Hollywood star and has listed his New York City bachelor pad for rent.

The decision comes as Aniston has made it clear she has no plans to leave her longtime home base anytime soon.

Beyond supporting Aniston at her film launch, Curtis has also played a key role in helping her confront past trauma through his hypnotherapy expertise. 

According to The Blast, an insider shared that Aniston was compelled to revisit painful memories while preparing to portray Jennette McCurdy's mother in Apple TV+'s adaptation of the bestselling memoir “I'm Glad My Mom Died.”

Curtis has reportedly been by her side throughout the process, offering both personal comfort and professional guidance as she continues to navigate unresolved issues connected to her late mother, Nancy Dow, who passed away in 2016.
