Chloë Grace Moretz sparked controversy in May when an Instagram fan account posted a photo that closely resembled her. Users, who mostly assumed that the actress was posing for a bikini-clad photo from a yacht, largely showered her with love, but some were more suspicious. Questions came in over whether or not the image was AI-generated, with one fan saying that the Greta star wasn't even being featured. "This is not her body," the fan said. Moretz, 28, is known for rarely sharing swimsuit content and has even asked media to outlets to focus on her "career" over her bikini body.

Posing from a swanky yacht as she appeared to enjoy a day on the water, the Hollywood star displayed her fierce curves and toned abs in a minuscule black bikini, going low-cut for a cleavage flash as she held a beverage. Chloë, who is not known to have posted such an image on her Instagram, looked pretty realistic on the face, sending out a cute, soft smile while wearing her hair down and cut just above the shoulders.

A caption read: "Gorgeous" as the dedicated fan feed encouraged fans to "follow" its page. "Wonderful!" one fan replied. "Gorgeous," another said.

Others weren't so sure, though. "Is it really her or is that AI-generated?" one asked. Another said: "Very bad," possibly inferring that the image was a fake. A third point-blank refused to accept that this is Chloë Grace Moretz as they said that this "is not her body." Appearing to agree as they said: "Fake," a further user threw in two laughing emoji into their reply.
