The feud between Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell continues, with the president's renewed threat to end her American citizenship.

It is no secret that the comedian and the POTUS have been butting heads for years over their differences. Trump rekindled their bad blood this year when he first threatened to end O'Donnell's citizenship in July.

Donald Trump recently doubled down on his desire to terminate Rosie O'Donnell's citizenship; however, she called BS on his claims. The TV personality accused the politician of using her as a distraction to cover up the protests for the Jeffrey Epstein files.

O'Donnell updated her Instagram page with a screenshot of Trump's latest Truth Social post. The president did not hide his distaste for the comedian, sharing a distorted picture of O'Donnell's face stretched beyond recognition.

"As previously mentioned, we are giving serious thought to taking away Rosie O'Donnell's Citizenship. She is not a Great American and is, in my opinion, incapable of being so!" Trump captioned the unflattering image.

O'Donnell fired back with a heated response, accusing the politician of using her as a diversion tactic. "Banishing me again? Logan Roy would be proud. I'm the distraction - EPSTEIN SURVIVORS are the reckoning and your gold lamé throne is melting," she wrote.

Fans Side With The Comedian Against The POTUS

O'Donnell's post received hundreds of positive messages from fans, who supported her stance against the president. Many called out Trump for being petty and childish, claiming his behavior was unbecoming of a ruler.

"You were one of the first to call him out, and a woman...standing up to him... he's never gotten over that. Well done, Rosie!" an IG user applauded O'Donnell. Another agreed, labeling Trump "a toddler," while a third implored the entertainer to keep "making him itch."

The supportive comments continued, with someone wondering if O'Donnell liked being an American before advising her to apply for Irish citizenship. "It's in process," O'Donnell replied. Her revelation sparked more adoring responses from fans, who noted she deserved better than Trump's MAGA agenda.

O'Donnell's response to Trump follows the recent protest at Capitol Hill on Wednesday, September 3. The Blast covered the story, reporting that alleged Epstein victims alongside a bipartisan mix of lawmakers and displeased citizens demanded the release of all files related to the sex offender's case.

The cries for justice began after investigators noted they were ending their probe into Epstein. Trump further fueled the public's displeasure by labeling the Epstein files "a hoax" and blaming the situation on Democrats.

One alleged victim, Chauntae Davies, implied Trump's administration was covering up his ties to Epstein by ending the investigation. She noted the deceased frequently "bragged about his powerful friends, including our current president, Donald Trump."

Davies claimed Trump was Epstein's "biggest brag," noting she had been too scared to speak out about the sex offender's crimes because he had influential people like the president in his corner. Additionally, she alleged she met "former president Bill Clinton and other notable figures" on a trip to Africa with Epstein.

Another alleged victim, Annie Farmer, claimed she was abused by Epstein at 16. She recalled reporting the crime to authorities, but nothing was done. "I am now 46 years old. Thirty years later, we still do not know why that report was not properly investigated," she lamented.

Farmer claimed Epstein's crimes were an "open secret" as his friends and colleagues "chose to look the other way because it benefited them to do so." When asked about the protests, Trump doubled down on it being a scheme to divert the public's attention from his successful administration.

O'Donnell, who moved to Ireland following Trump's return to office, was forced to apologize to Irish Prime Minister Taoiseach Micheál Martin. The Blast reported that the PM was asked why he allowed her into the country during his visit to the White House for St. Patrick's Day.

Martin appeared confused by the reporter's question, and Trump asked if he knew who O'Donnell was. When the PM responded negatively, the POTUS said, "You're better off not knowing."

The comedian expressed disbelief over the encounter in an interview, revealing she wrote a note to the PM apologizing for Trump's behavior. She was disheartened by the lack of respect he received because of her history with the president and wanted Martin to understand why Trump was out to get her.
