Safaree Freaks Fans Out By Saying He's Going To Bleach His Skin

Safaree is apparently going through a few things!
The "Love And Hip Hop" star freaked out his followers when he tweeted that he is ready for a change on Monday, June 21. Nicki Minaj's ex is having an emotionally taxing month due to his messy divorce with Erica Mena. Still, he allegedly lost more than a few fans by saying that he will start bleaching his skin. "Starting my skin bleaching process today… it’s time for change," the 39-year-old tweeted.
The Fans React
It's unclear if the reality star is baiting his followers to engage with his tweet or if he is serious. However, the fans were not amused.
"You could’ve kept this self hating s--t to yourself. You’re a public figure and people see this. I’ll never understand people hating their blackness," one disappointed follower replied. Another wrote, "Unfollowing you off this tweet."
"have you been hacked? plz what is this," a third fan asked.
There were some supporters mixed in with the negative comments.
"anything that makes you happy king, ignore the trolls. We support you #safareenation," one supportive follower wrote.
He Loves Media Attention
Safaree has been known to go to great lengths to get attention and even faked his own divorce several times before really filing for divorce this year. However, he recently made headlines by filing court documents to force Erica to allow him to be there for their child’s arrival in July. After the news of his legal filing went viral, Mena responded on social media. She shared an image of an eye and a pair of praying hands to express the emotions of her message. "Here I go getting dragged in the media and none of y’all even know the real story,” she wrote on IG. “Let me be pregnant and get through this time in peace.”
Mena and Safaree have been married for less than two years and are expecting their second child in July. He was there for the birth of their first child, Safire, and claims that his presence at the birth is in the child’s best interest so he can start bonding with the baby immediately.
