Jack Nicholson's grandson, Sean Nicholson, isn't alone as he faces a domestic violence charge against him.
The 29-year-old was arrested earlier this month after an altercation with a woman he allegedly knocked unconscious.
He has since been released on bail and recently pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, with the full support of his family, including his grandfather, actor Jack Nicholson.
Sean Nicholson's Family 'Fully Supports Him' As He Battles His DV Charge

Amid Sean Nicholson's legal turmoil, reports suggest he has strong backing from his family, most notably from his grandfather, Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson, per The U.S. Sun.
"He's a nice young man, he really is, with no record, and he wants to get past this," said Nicholson's lawyer, Andrew Fuller, after Tuesday's court hearing, where he entered a not guilty plea to the DV charges he is facing.
He added, "The family fully supports him, absolutely, including Jack, the King."
With the not guilty plea signaling Nicholson's intent to fight the charges, his attorney further emphasized this belief by noting that he and the 29-year-old are "very confident" the case will be resolved.
Fuller also revealed what Nicholson has been doing since his release on a $50,000 bond, following his arrest earlier this month.
"He's in a program, a residential treatment center. He's been there 20 days and will be there for some time thereafter based on his progress," the lawyer shared.
The Judge Ordered Sean Nicholson To Steer Clear Of His Alleged Victim

Besides the plea portion of the hearing, Judge Keith Schwartz, who presided over the case, also issued a criminal protective order for the alleged victim's safety.
The order instructs Nicholson to never be within 100 yards of his accuser and prohibits him from harassing her, including through phone calls or social media.
He is also required to stay away from Pepperdine University, the institution his accuser appears to be attending.
If the criminal protective order hadn't been issued by the court, Nicholson would likely still be forced to obey similar rules, as his accuser had also filed a civil restraining order, which was presented to him during Tuesday's hearing.
Details About Sean Nicholson's Altercation With His Accuser

After the hearing, Nicholson was approached by the press but declined to comment on his ongoing case.
However, details of what happened between Nicholson and his accuser, recently revealed to be Elizabeth Lawlor, first emerged in a police report about the incident.
Lawlor had visited Nicholson at his request, and after a normal conversation, they soon began arguing over several issues, including infidelity and Nicholson's drug use.
In the heat of the argument, Nicholson allegedly grabbed Lawlor by the neck and head, then threw her against an unidentified hard object, causing her to fall unconscious.
The impact not only made Lawlor black out but also, according to her, broke her teeth when she regained consciousness.
The Alleged Victim Needed Stitches

Lawlor reportedly attempted to leave the apartment after regaining consciousness, but was intercepted by security.
They seemingly contacted Sean Nicholson, who arrived to escort her back upstairs.
Eventually, police were called in after Nicholson's mother, Jennifer Nicholson, who wasn't at the location, dialed 911 upon receiving photos of Lawlor's injuries.
The victim ultimately required stitches and treatment for her facial wounds, as well as surgery for her chipped front tooth.
Sean Nicholson's Accuser Visited Him After He Threatened To Overdose

Lawlor was previously in a relationship with Nicholson, though their romance seemed to have ended months earlier, as his last social media post about her dates back to June 2024.
She claims she only agreed to visit Nicholson under duress, as he had reached out to her and threatened to overdose on Valium despite being fresh out of rehab.
"He threatened to take a full bottle of Valium if I did not come over," read Lawlor's filing, per The U.S. Sun.
Upon arriving at his apartment in Venice, Los Angeles, it became apparent to her that Nicholson had already broken his sobriety.
"I noticed he had taken pills along with alcohol and cocaine," she also wrote in the docs.
This behaviour of combining prescription medication with illicit substances was previously noted in the police report about the incident, which also revealed that Nicholson is a recovering addict with a documented diagnosis of schizophrenia.
