Meghan Markle has spent most of her debut creating lifestyle content, proving the naysayers wrong, although her emotions occasionally get the better of her.

The mother of two spoke up on Tuesday on "The Circuit with Emily Chang" about the mixed reviews following the just-concluded season of her lifestyle show on Netflix. She expressed that her partners and audience absolutely love the show, which is the demography she has chosen to stick with.

The acceptance by those who matter is reportedly why they now have a second season of "With Love, Meghan" in the works. Meghan addressed the flip side of these compliments, describing the bad reviews as intangible because some of the critics had copied her recipes.

"And that's all right. They're trying to pay their bills, and that's for them to sort out if they're comfortable doing it at someone else's detriment," Meghan noted. The former actress explained that the idea behind the show is for her to share the tips she loves in her life and have loads of fun.

The former editor of Vanity Fair and Tatler weighed in on Meghan's life, essentially criticizing her ability to make decisions or execute good ideas. In Tina Brown's words, as shared by The Blast, all of Meghan's ideas are uninspiring and complete "crap."

She also slammed Prince Harry and his decision to leave the royal palace, claiming it was his manifest destiny to leave it all behind. Tina blamed Meghan for being so impressionable on Harry, ultimately persuading him to flee his home country with her to America.

Following these comments about her person, craft, and marriage, Meghan was shocked that a person she once deeply admired could say such things about her.

Meghan has reportedly been a lifelong fan of Tina's work, including her book "The Diana Chronicles," a biography of Princess Diana. The former actress read the book to feel close to her late mother-in-law and prepare herself for the royal task ahead.

Three years ago, the former editor shared that the late princess may not have encouraged his son and Meghan to leave their royal life behind. Tina expressed that Diana never maligned the institution, while she witnessed a chaotic time with the monarchy and her in-laws.

Tina emphasized, "Diana would have been very, very protective of Harry and I believe very anxious about this direction they [he and Meghan] have taken." She also opined that Diana may not have been very fond of Meghan, contrary to public opinion.

The late princess would have felt the former actress was leading her son astray and towards infamy. "I don't think Diana would have been the great fan of Meghan that Meghan herself might perhaps imagine," she added.

Tina also expressed in another interview that it saddens her heart to know that Harry cannot return to England at a point when the country's image desperately needs him.
